Report: Jonathan Allen Given Permission to Seek Trade

Forget giving Ozawa 20m$, get this dude instead

Lol.

Good players dont sign here.

JJ for sure doesnt want to get the middlefinger again and then have to lie in front of the media that we were the ones who didnt want the player.

We are not players in FA. Go figure why? Because nobody with real sporty ambitions even thinks about Dallas. Even less will sign with us.

This Henry crap and so on is just big PR JJ needs. Dallas is just one big PR show.

What we get are washed up Cabos or bum QB. Then we have to embarrass us in front of the media by saying that bum is one of the best at his position. That all with a stiff smile in our face.

If you do that for years go look how you look then:

Over the last 8 years Washington’s 1st round picks have been:

Jon Allen
Daron Payne
Montez Sweat
Dwayne Haskins
Chase Young
Jamin Davis
Jahan Dotson
Emmanuel Forbes
Jayden Daniels

If Allen is traded, that will mean out of 9 1st round picks only Payne and Daniels are still on the team. Adam Peters—in his first year as GM—will have traded away Allen, Sweat, Young, and Dotson and outright cut Davis and Forbes during the season. Dude does not play. He even got Howie Roseman to cough up essentially a 3rd round pick for Dotson, who went on to have a whopping 16 catches and zero TDs this past season lol. No doubt they would have held onto all these guys if Snyder were still owner.

More like, Stephen Jones makes sure Dallas doesn’t pursue good players in the FA market.
Thats how Dallas wants to make it look like.

Reality is Dallas is no place good players want to go to. At least not those players for whom their sport is important or are looking for success.

Of course we get players who dont care about the sport itself nor success in it. But want to earn a lot of money or build their own business and therefore need some spotlight and media presence (DFlaw, Parsons, Dak to name and few).

He has 1 year left on his deal. Someone who doesn't need the draft capital will probably make a move for him hoping he can give them 1 good year. But something tells me he is going to want a new deal with his new team right away, like Myles Garrett.

If I recall correctly, didn't he have some kind of rift with Payne? It seems he has been unhappy for a couple of years at least. With a new team he could flourish again.

he's on the decline who would want to take on that contract
100. Don't pay big money to 30 y.o. iDL, and honestly he never really causes concern when playing the Cowboys.

DQ is clearing room for Osa.

paying a big penny for an ok DT just because you've had him on your team before, but hey to each his own

No way. He’s been in decline and is looking for a big contract to end his career.
