I have beat this drum over the years and said it more times than I can count in the last several weeks. There's no better motivator than talent sitting behind you on the bench. The way this organization over-coddles players makes me sick. It's strikes directly at the heart of why we continue to log 8-8 seasons.

Prior to the draft, I figured a 7-9 season was in the cards. I have to revise that down to 6-10 based upon the actions of our brain trust.

I have a great feeling not picking manziel will comeback to haunt us .. We will be quarterback thirsty in the next couple years n would have passed our oppurtunity like always.. wow, you amongst others keep talking about what are we gonna do if in two years something happens to Romo, but neglect to say why you say JF would be the only answer. Right now, he is like Michael Vick coming out of college with just ALOT more hype. I have heard no expert out there say this guy is top notch guy who could be "that guy", if he was teams like Jacksonville would of grabbed him first. Only thing he brings is a show right now with potential but every qb coming out of college brings potential so.....

31 other teams can be wrong, but not often.

Jacksonville chose Bortles. Manziel fell to 22 AND Cleveland picked 2 players ahead of him.

I'm concerned that the rest of the NFL thinks Manziel is overrated, but the Cowboys did not and passed only because of Romo's situation.

Heck, we can say years ago, Dallas should have picked Walter Payton over Randy White. Still, I go with predictable and boring over flashy.
