Report: Raiders are shopping Carr

Shopping a guy that beat Dak in a skills competition...What the...:omg:
Bingo! The Raiders are shopping a QB that had a better season than Dak. The Broncos brought in Flacco because they werent happy with Keenum who had a similar season to Dak. The Broncos and Raiders could also be drafting QBs. Looks like some teams are trying to get better and not remain content with mediocre play at the QB position.

Dak had more TDs (not even close when you include rushing TDs), fewer INTs (and fumbles lost). On top of that, Dak had a slightly higher YPA. The only area where Carr was better, was his 68.9 completion percentage versus Dak’s 67.7.

I won’t even bother posting Case Keenum’s stats...

carr had 4,000 yds passing and a higher completion percentage and he didnt have a running game and no #1 WR. We saw what Dak did with out Amari.

Is the implication, we should bring him in to compete with Dak? How else is this thread relevant in the Fan Zone forum rather than being moved to the NFL Zone? Once again the mods are slacking.

Lol Carr had Amari for almost the same amount of time as Dak.

Carr also has a higher completion percentage but less YPA. Yet I’m sure you criticize Dak about “dinking and dunking” so think about that.

The same Amari you’re talking about wasn’t doing crap with Carr last season, then goes with Dak and blows up. But by all means talk about Carr not having Amari without mentioning that fact.

my God, when will the anti-Dak madness end.....Dak is our QB, we are not going to being in anyone to challenge him and Carr doesn't want to be 2nd string (and I think White was "the guy")?

the 4,819th Dak thread, I think it is time for a Dak Zone for the top of the page

I'd bring him in for late draft pick and a much smaller contract. Pay Dak $25+ mil or Carr $10 mil? Assuming we can even get a lower contract from him that is.

I'd bring him in and have him compete with Dak for the QB job.

Weird he'd consider trading their qb while also being interested in about every big name (obj, ab, bell)

Interestly enough he could save his brother ship him to the skins and make a play on rosen or bridgewater.

Either way no thank you from me. I just dont see it from jerry who loves him some dak and he could argue dak has had a better career, and has already lookee good with cooper where as he faded out there.

Amari needed a change of scenery because his drop rate was the highest in the league. He wouldnt of been traded at all had he been catching the ball like he did with Dak. I suspect that might have more to do with Dak doesnt throw a fast ball like Carr and the shorter routes he was asked to run. Between Amari and Zeke catching those short balls and having some big games with a ton of YAC. Daks stats would look a whole lot different.
Raiders had a garbage defense and no RBs. You put Dak on the Raiders and he wouldnt come close to the 4000 passing yards that Carr had.
But the idea is not that I want Carr its that teams that have capable QBs that are every but as good as Dak are trying to upgrade.

why invest 35 million of your cap in QB, specially 10 mill in a QB that may never play a down? makes no sense at all.

While few players are unshoppable (Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, Aaron Donald, maybe Deshaun Watson), it’s not currently believed that the Raiders have serious interest in trading Carr.

Why not? They're not dumping him this year because his dead cap would be 27 million. Next year his dead cap is 5 mil and cap hit of 21 Mil. They are in good position to draft a QB this year and release Carr next year. Then have someone on the rookie contract saving cap space. That said, see why they might want to trade him now?

That is one Used Carr we don't need

Way too expensive for the production

Like a Jaguar ..... always in the shop
