Found this at footballcoachscoop.com ......

Just throwing it out there so everyone can take pinata swings at it ..... :)

Dallas Cowboys:
Our sources tell us that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones does not plan on retaining current Head Coach Wade Phillips after the 2010 season. According to our
sources Jones interest in is Les Miles (LSU Head Coach) and Bob Stoops (Oklahoma Head Coach). On December 3, FootballCoachScoop sources
confirmed that Owner Jerry Jones still hadn't picked up the option for next season on Phillips who is in the final year of a three-year contract. We have
confirmed that Jones does have interest in LSU Head Coach Les Miles (November 12). It is expected that Phillips will not be back in Dallas unless they
make it to the Super Bowl, according to our sources.

College coaches leaping to the NFL has been very successful. Miles is a freak on a leash. Weird.

My sources tell me that if this team does well in post season Phillips will be back. That is about as founded as this report. I do like Les Miles not that crazy about Stoops but if Dallas does end up with a new coach I hope he gets a fair shake by the fans and media some how I doubt that will be the case.

Wade has made me frustraited the past few years. But he has an incredible record, and we all hope he can do well in the post season.

I would rather keep Wade Phillips then go with a College Coach.

I'd rather have Wade or Garrett than either Stoops or Miles

I agree. This team has too much talent and I fear the window of opportunity may close on it by the time a college coach learns the ropes. If there's any truth to this story then I wonder if Garrett will continue to stay on or look for a HC job somewhere else?

This. It's not like Wade has been doing a terrible job. We just need Jason Garrett to continue to mature as a coordinator and some help on the offensive line.

If Wade gets to the playoffs and wins a playoff game, he'll probably get a raise, but he'll definitely be here next year. Dallas has had success with college coaches. Johnson and Switzer back to back for a couple. But generally college coaches don't do well in the NFL.

I think too many people thought it was a forgone conclusion that we would be looking for a new Head Coach.

I have said this for quite a while, I really believe Jerry Jones likes Wade Phillips and the working relationship he has with him.

Jerry Jones just needs Wade Phillips to win, so he can justify keeping him.

Many will disagree, but I really believe Wade Phillips is back if we win 1 Playoff Game.

Jerry Jones will say that Wade Phillips got us over the hump and wants to give him a 1 year extension for "continuity", his great Regular Season Record and to see if he can take the Cowboys to the next level, which is going deep into the Playoffs.

Book it!!!

Both of those guys would be complete disasters. Within three years Cowboys Stadium would be destroyed due to rioting and car bombs.
