Old habits are hard to break.

I really thought with MCClay and Steven making such significant progress in putting a team together that maybe we had seen the end of those days.

We have been cutting underperforming contracts (Dez). We didn’t over pay for Murray and we let Leary walk. Those both indicated that the overall Cowboys’ philosophy had changed.

Now we see us literally throw stupid money (for production) at Witten, and we way overpaid to keep Tank. The way things are looking I’m starting to wonder if we are going back to the old way of doing things.

I love having Dak as our QB but if he gets anything near 40m or more than Wilson the team has been robbed.

I’m sure other teams would love to see Dak eat up a big chunk of our cap space.

We'll be the laughing stock of the league when we sign this bum to those kinds of numbers.
