He's a good guy, and he had his chances. 13 of them. 2014, two years ago, which was a LONG time ago at this stage of his career, was his last opportunity to get it done and it didn't happen.

At this point, I wish him well, but it is just WRONG to hold him above what is best for this team and organization going forward. It isn't fair to the other players who want to win and fans who support. It is time to open the next chapter. He will be remembered.

I actually did like the video and thanks for sharing.

And in those 13 seasons it was never because of Romo that there weren't any Super Bowls. He has been the ONLY reason the Cowboys have been able to challenge for a Super Bowl.

I can't wait for your disappointment in a couple of weeks when he is back as our starting QB. Enjoy

Where are these 13 seasons?
No need to make stuff up.
He didnt even become a starter until during the 2006 season.
13, 10, 8, whatever you choose to call it. Enough is enough. Again it is WRONG to hold his feelings above what is best for the team and organization. If they bring him back after what Dak has shown... It would be BEYOND foolish. Not to mention you could be putting his long term health in serious jeopardy. Selfish.

His high QB Rating and heart will be remembered for many years to come.

I'm not one that's worried about his feelings.
I simply and honestly think that at this stage, Dak is good, but Tony will be better.

You know, the great ones always warm our hearts. But when the time comes that injury or talent falls away, watching old films doesn't change the terrain much at all.

I hope Romo comes back. But I also hope Romo has a complete life after football, and not nagged by limitations to enjoy what he has earned.

My joy at his feats of greatness does not outweigh my understanding his life belongs to him, and he doesn't have to fall on his sword for me just to win a silly game.

If we both can have what we want, and that is s shot at a championship, that would be perfect.

But if it came down to the attempt at getting to a championship, and Romo suffers for the remainder of his life because he stayed one play too long, then I want him to walk away.

Not be carried away on his shield.

There will be other days, and other chances for me and this team. I can't say that about a man that is forever hurting just so I can have bragging rights.

I love Tony and am one of his biggest supporters. But he hasn't played much football in the past 18 months or so. Do you really think that when he gets cleared to play again, he will step in and light it up like he did in 2014? I have my doubts. It will probably take him several games to get in the groove. Do we have the luxury to let him go in and lose a few games to get him going? Its a tough decision, I think its not a slam dunk that you throw him in there as soon as he's ready.

His first interception, loss, or bad game, the restless fans will be calling for Dak. On the other hand, the first interception or bad game by Dak and fans will be calling for Romo to hurry back.

It's a tough decision.

Somebody needs to explain to the troll that Romo has not been the starter for 13 years

Oh I apologize, I know it's only been 10 seasons. I was just responding to the OP. Did you mean me or the OP? I'm on your side with this! Romo is the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

Funny thing is Romo has really only had 1 maybe 2 teams in his whole career that were actaully superbowl contenders talent wise. Yet some want to still blame him. Those 8-8 teams were 1-15 talent wise. Even in 2014, our defense was still so bad that I wouldn't even consider that a team capable of winning the superbowl. On top of that I bet most of people don't even realize Romo's career playoff stats include 8tds 2 ints and a 93 QB rating. Romo's lack of playoffs wins are solely because the lack of talent surrounding him
