What is the rush, exuberant lad? Did Mo's yacht payment come due?
They will resign him, but in a good deal for all. We need cap space for consistent, reliable secondary help.
I hope they do lol at exuberant lad --- I just think it is better to not go into the draft needing 2 CB kinda of makes us predictable, I hope mo stays that's all

Everyone wants the deal that gets you the good player for no money and no risk.....everyone but the players......you have to be realistic.........Mo has turned into a top 20 CB......that pays around 10m

If DAL got him for 5/35m with 14m guaranteed that would be a good deal......basically a 2-3 deal for 6-7m per
Maybe 2 years this guy has a lot of injuries.

I'd rather spend a first rounder on a CB (something I'm not too fond of) than re-signing this player.
At the 32nd pick there may be no starter ready CB there
Signing Mo to a short term, team friendly deal gives you options. As mentioned above, a Lee type deal so to make any serious money he has to play

Only if we can withhold full game checks for any games he misses. He's not agreeing to that, so bye bye bust.

Lee has a contract that is structured so if he doesn't play he doesn't make as much. It's possible Mo would do something like that to help himself the following year in free agency. A healthy year he gets paid and can hit the market. Injured and he doesn't make as much and he has low value on the market
Signing mo like that wouldnt prevent you from drafting a CB but covers you if the quality is not there. Everyone wins

my plan is a 2 year deal if they want out or a 3 year deal or 4-5 year deal if he stays productive

Real Costs
1year - 9m
2years- 14m
3years-18m
4years- 26m
5years-35m

Mo has proven that he's capable of performing at a high level but his many injuries should keep the deal limited to a moderate one.

I believe most of us have come to admire his can do attitude when it comes to perseverance. That in itself deserves some respect.
