What's odd is Bell was one of our best run defenders last season until GB exposed him.
Every player gets exposed in this league, even JW, you bring the heat with what you have.
Young guns have to fill the void to save this season.
Edge speed commands respect more than ever this season.

The penalties were my main issue with him. Hopefully he continues to not get flagged. He's had a great year so far.
I gladly pick up those penalties and except them with JL in the game.
He is a vital component currently in this defense.
If MP could only bring half the attitude that JL brings I live with it all day, heck let's let a player be a player and he brings that attitude my friends.

This has kind of been a pattern with Lewis's career. He's a tough, athletically limited gamer. When he plays in sub-packages and makes spot starts, he looks really good. Then when he starts playing more snaps, and offenses start paying more attention to him, he gets exposed. Eventually, he gets buried in reserve duty and then starts flashing again. He's like the Ryan Fitzpatrick of slot corners.

Lewis still been a good player for a long time, and definitely one of the more underappreciated Cowboys. Lasting 8 years in the NFL is like the equivalent of 80 years for us fans on the couch, and he's beat the Reggie Robinsons and Eric Scotts of the league coming for his job for season after season.

It’s funny…well not really…that some posters in this forum wanted him gone; questioning his grit and ability. Maybe not appreciating, nor recognizing, the extent and seriousness of his injury and the implications of such.

Lewis is vastly under rated, I've been saying this for years (and not just because he's from my alma mater)

Tough as nails, very solid tackler in space, and better ball skills than most realize.

I don't think he'll ever end up in Canton by any means but he gets talked about way less than he should

This is a fundamentally sound football player who consistently shows up week to week

He is good and has been since arriving in Dallas. Elite quickness, smart, good corner instincts and plays with fire and aggression.

Perfect for a slot corner in today’s NFL. He’s always been a player that I liked, even going back to Michigan.

He has been a very good player for us ever since he was drafted.

His career has been very underrated. Every team wants a player like Jourdan Lewis on their team.
I've always been in his corner. Even in college.
With the Cowboys, he just needed a chance. I had a feeling he would be a good player.

I wrote my response before seeing yours. My sentiments exactly.
