Love the win today. I dont care how bad it was. A win is a win. I love this team, and the players we are assemblling at key positions.

But we really need a dynamic kick returner. We have used so many spares at that spot, and have no luck. Owusu-Ansah, Ogletree, Dwayne Harris. This is getting pathetic.

Alot of teams have dangerous return guys, and it really comes up in big games. Field position is everything in the NFL, and we are shooting ourselves in the foot by not having an elite guy back there.

Look at what Banks did today for the Skins. He pretty much kept them in the game. Look at guys like Josh Cribbs, Stefen Logan, Leon Washington, Joe McKnight, Randall Cobb, etc.

Some of those guys were late round picks or undrafted free agents, but they help their team. Our best return guys are starters, and we cant afford to get them hurt. When is Jerry going to find a guy like that?

I agree. We NEVER get the ball with good field position,

Need to put our former first-round, situational player in there.

Felix should be doing it.

I see returner as one of the biggest needs on the team. If they have to get someone that can't play another position, then so be it...Just let him take the place of a 2nd kicker next year.

When are we going to draft a guy in the middle to late rounds whose sole purpose is kick and punt returns.

Dez, Felix, Murray, Austin, Newman are all good return guys, but we cant risk that.

We really missed an oppurtunity this year in the draft. Especially in the 5th round. We drafted CB Josh Thomas, who didnt even make the team. After we drafted Thomas, the following players were drafted and would add to the return game:
Jacquizz Rodgers
Denarius Moore
Dion Lewis
Jeremy Kerley

I hate looking back and saying we could have or should have drafted a guy. But they obviously were looking for a WR late in the draft because they ended up drafting Harris in the 6th. If they would have drafted say Denarius Moore or Jeremy Kerley our return game would be set. Moore is lightning fast, and he's also helping out in passing game as a deep threat.

Now we can.

Felix is no longer the main guy, and at times can be catalytic, so he should get some opportunities.

No better place than on kickoff returns if you ask me.

I agree on Felix. We need to put him back there, if he's 100% recovered from that ankle injury.

Felix was an elite return guy in college and his rookie year. With Murray getting most of the carries, returns would provide another way to get the ball in Felix's hands.

He is so dangerous in open space, kick return is perfect for his style. Not sure how he would do on punts.

AOA has to go. This guy has shown nothing in his time here. I don't know what they saw in this "project'" That's Jerry's problem as a GM. Too many projects and not enough sure things.

your ultimate answer is

TY HILTON in next years 3rd round, even if he never plays an offensive snap, his st value is off the charts

Answer... Skylar Green.

Blocking is just awful on returns. At some point, we need to put the blame where it belongs. We've had lots of returners and none have done well. AOA seems unable to make cuts and should not return, other than the fact he has great hands hauling the ball in. But the real issue is the blocking.

He would be better than AOA. Hell, I think I would be better than AOA.

You would have dropped half of the balls today, of this I have no doubt.
