I am usually one of the guys who will jump on you for whining about the refs but Pete's Seahawks have a history of suspect play out on the field. I saw numerous chippy type contact hits and a lot of talk from them. Pretty much every time our TE got some action, there was extra curricular activity against him that could have been called. I think Pollard was actually thrown down out of bounds after he'd been out of bounds. I saw a lot of hits on our WR's that looked like they were trying to injure (they missed on these but the intent was suspect.). Give credit to our team for keeping their wits and not engaging into Pete's antics. Again, I may be a little touchy because I've seen this from the seahawks ever since petey showed up.

I do not believe the refs are out to get us in some grand conspiracy but I do believe they are incompetent. Can they be malevolent against players/teams who speak out against them? Oh, I wouldn't doubt it.
I am not a real conspiracy type but when one team is getting away with something and another is not. Or penalties not called right in front of ref. It starts to look like they are trying to keep a game close. Parsons situation is a fact of holding happens on every play. But when the ref is watching everything around a qb and here comes Parsons (or any dominant player) right at and close to the qb on most every pass play and there is a guy hanging on his back and the only thing thats consistent is that there is no flag. Thats bs..

I’ll say it again…

And again.

You can call holding on EVERY single play.

For both teams on the field of play.

I saw Tyler Smith hold numerous times last night.

It goes both ways.

I didn't get why they passed on 3rd down towards the end of the game. That was horrible coaching right there, given what happened at the end of the first half.
That’s looked like a case of MM being the guy that rogers said he was.. He has a hard time handling everything a HC has to do. Very questionable playcalling. I would almost be more comfortable letting Dak call his own plays.

Agreed.

Also trying to figure out how exactly Dante Fowler was offsides. But there were some dubious calls against both teams last night so it all evens out.
I thought it looked as though he was lined up in the neutral zone, at least the way the camera projected it on the replay.

Watching the game again and paying attention to the trenches. Anyone else do this and tell me how many times we were held. I know I know it happens every play. But wow.

It has to be defeating for Parsons. He knows when he lines up he has to fight off double teams that are also holding him. First quarter when MM didnt take the penalty and they burned Bland twice with metcalf and they stalled because Parsons put pressure on and they miss the fg. Watching Parsons coming right up the middle he is held and wrestled down and he still gets through and is pushed from behind to the ground. How does the ref not see this.

Not to mention the rest of the guys being held up front. This happens game in and game out. But they will sure call us for holding.. And alot of times we are actually holding. But blatant holds like this.

Ok blow me up as a conspiracy guy. Remove the tin foil cap. Making excuses. Blah blah blah…

The refs in this league are terrible and nothing will be done about it. 11:46 in the second quarter Tyler Smith from the 2 yard line pushed a guy back to the goal line. Some of the other O-Line did the same. He is called for illegal man down field. We still score so nobody will mention it. But wth is that about. I am sure someone can get technical with the rules that would allow the refs to bend the rule to fit the flag.

NFL will never announce they are sports entertainment because the betting will stop.

Also watching the game our secondary was horrid. With no pressure even geno can carve you up. Bland trailing in coverage will never look back for the ball. If he does he would have had 3 easy picks.

10:18 in the second Parsons held again.
That's my biggest complaint. So you've built a nice defensive front seven with excellent pass rush? Cool, we'll just assign an officiating crew that doesn't call holding,,,, or just doesn't call it on your opponents. Either way, your strength has been negated and the playing field "leveled" for a competitive game with high viewership ratings or grease the skids for chosen teams. Packers for a long time, now Eagles... Niners.

Target on and even the broadcasters were saying the levels of penalties should be toned down. Why have rules then. More of them by a team known for penalties doesn't make them unfunctionable or even a detriment to the game so ignore all but blatant ones.

Target. I don't want the Dallas defensive players to look like the Eagles. I like the Dallas front and secondary, now.

How many times a game do we see a flag thrown and the commentators are watching the replay on national TV along with us and its bs. They can’t cover that up. A lot of times they will blow up the refs call. Only way out is to not show these replays on TV. Move on to the next play and not talk about it..

Was that when Fergie caught it down the seam and the guy went low and hit him when he was hitting the ground. I just watched that play. There secondary got called a lot but it was because they were just grabbing and riding our WR.
Adams straight went at Jake’s head with his helmet. He should’ve been ejected.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned on the board but neither team punted. It’s only the fifth time in NFL history that’s happened.
Oh yeah I remember the commentators saying the punters had the night off..

Dude... he was lined up in the neutral zone. He does that a lot. How can he have played all these years and keep making stupid mistakes like that!

Was very easy flag. And fined. He will get neither. I remember a year or so ago the refs were calling some intentional flags and saying if the player has another they will be ejected. And a few players that year got ejected from games..

Seattle went into the game with a plan to be physical on the line and with our WR's. They held Parsons and our WR's on every play.
In the second half especially in the 4th quarter we had a lot of calls going for us. I dont know if we win this game without those.

I watched the game only 1 time yesterday so maybe i m wrong. Correct me then please.

Yeah he knows where to line up. And watch the ball. When it moves after the center sets it. He can go..

There was a lot of flags flying in that game. Commentators were even joking and commenting about it. The hc for seahags likes his players to be overly aggressive and want the other team to come back. The person that hits back gets the flag.
