Let me guess, we decided to recieve the kickoff to start the game, they scored right before the before the half to turn a blowout into a one score game, they came out w new life scored again to start the second and stole all the momentum just like the rams game?

Another reason to fire the clapping carrot. Never understood that philosophy.

I just have a question, how many of you actually go back and watch the games, like they unfolded?

I think a lot of people don't and then the narratives take hold.
I do. I have the game pass and I'll rewatch for months.

I usually do this once the no new football blues hit me.

So I chose the GB game.

Just sad to watch knowing the outcome. This was a winnable game.
Correction: This was a game we should have won. Without Lee our D was struggling big time. Everyone in the stadium knew we needed to keep the ball away from GB as long as possible, on our last drive and score a TD. The drive was going perfectly. Then Linehan or Garrett called for the ridiculous low percentage fade to Dez. Even if Dez makes the catch we are leaving to much time on the clock. This game was plain insanity. These O coaches did the same thing vs GB in the playoffs( left them to much time). They make the same stupid mistakes over and over and over again and expect a different result!

I would guess very few people re-watch any games from the previous season, especially losses.

Things are often much difference when you re-watch a game even if it's just a few days later and definitely when it's months later.

Sometimes I like to go through either all offensive plays or all defensive plays which gives a different perspective on how good/bad that unit really performed.
How do you grade the coaches on this one?

I watched the Chargers game. It showed me how trash our offense is. The defense was pretty good for almost 3 quarters until it was evident the offense wouldn’t show up

Too much space to keep them all. I usually delete the following week. I kept the Pittsburgh game from 2016 for quite a while because it was so glorious.

If you get the Game Pass pkg, you can go back years. I used to rewatch every game later in the week and then again before the season started. I doubt I do any of that this coming year

I DVR them.

My wife and I jockey who gets more space, the football or her Law and Order episodes.
Yes, mine obsesses about running out of space on the DVR. I often hear "do you really need all of those games?".

I have the All-22 access but I also like watching the broadcast on TV with the remote; therefore I keep all games on DVR until the following season starts.

I really wish I could watch the All-22 on TV with the remote. That software, much like the NFL website, is a bit ameturish in design.

I haven't rewatched the games yet but this will be my conclusions

We need to fire Marinelli and Linehan this automatically becomes a better team.

It's been a while since I watched this one. Based on memory the offense was rolling initially but GB adjusted and Dallas didn't.

I think this was the game where the ball bounced off TWill and resulted in a pick-6. They did get away from throwing that type of pass to TWill in following games. TWill has the odd limitation that he struggles with short, quick passes. The ball gets on him before he can react. I recall that play being a short out route but he also struggles on slants. He is much better on plays that are almost identical to the slant but are 5 to 10 further downfield. It seems that he needs the extra time to focus on the ball to be able to catch it. My point being that the coaches should have known this limitation because we've seen it in previous years.

On defense GB had success with the run but Dallas kept Rodgers fairly well in check. Dallas sold out to defend the passing game at the expense of giving up yards in the run game. I'm OK with that plan against GB because their running game is usually lame and they have one of the best QBs in the league.

The big struggle on defense was penalties at the very worst times. Not sure if that's coaching or the preferred treatment that most other teams believe GB receives from the refs.

In general I think the defense exceeded expectations last season. The defensive coaches had many limitations in regards to the roster.

The offense on the other hand failed to meet expectations. They've spent almost double on offense as compared to defense but didn't get their money's worth. I think much of that can be blamed on coaching; although, the Cowboys might have the worst WR group in the league and no longer have a dynamic TE to overcome the WR limitations.

I think I'll pull up the game and re-watch again to see if my memory was accurate.
