If anyone remembers the preseason, Brian Griese was the man of the city of Chicago coming out of training camp.

Oh since the Cowboy fans have done it according to you (And they have), you know that this is a Dallas phenomenon and does not happen in other cities? Right...that is what I thought.

Our QB is performing average at best and if you say otherwise you are out of your mind. Not saying he cant turn it around, because anything is possible I suppose. As of right now he is not performing well. I would like you to tell me that he is performing well.

Name another franchise that has had as many QB controversies as us... I'd like to see that one. I can't even to begin to think of another franchise where the fans think that the backup is almost always better than whoever's starting.

You're making such a huge deal over this, when I originally meant it in half-jest... Must have hit a nerve there huh?

And I never said Bledsoe was "performing well..." You stated that you can tell how a team is performing by how their QB is performing. Ergo, if Bledsoe is performing poorly (an opinion which I'm assuming you subscribe to), then the Cowboys must be performing poorly.

to supplement your argument:

LeBaron/Meredith
Meredith/Morton
Morton/ Staubach
White/ Hogeboom
White/ Pelleur
Aikman/ Walsh
Aikman/ Beurlein
Aikman/Cunningham
Quincy/Hutch
Vinny/Henson
Bledsoe/ Romo

Dont get to upset now, one thing that does not come across over the internet is tone, facial expression and so on and so forth.

I am not making a big deal out of it. I just get tired of hearing how Dallas fans are stupid and Dallas fans this and Dallas fans that.

So yeah I guess you could say it hit a tiny nerve, but no big deal I promise. Just thought it was worth pointing out that this happens in every NFL city.

As to your Cowboy question, I would say as I already said that Bledsoe is performing average at best and the Cowboys are performing (do date with room for this to change obviously) average to slightly above average.

I do not give teams a whole heck of a lot of credit when all you have done is beat teams you are supposed to beat the heck out of.

Dallas has three wins versus opponents who are a combined 4-13

Dallas has two losses versus opponents who are a combined 7-4

anybody can have a bad day at the office. the bears are still in good shape at 5-1 (although my run in the "elimination: winner" contest is coming to a close).

great game by matt leinart, boldin, coach green, and the cardinals.

I agree, we haven't beaten anyone yet. But the teams we did beat, we beat soundly. And the good teams we lost to were on the road and they were close. I don't think everything is as black and white as those records suggest.

The way Bledsoe has been crucified by the majority of the Cowboys fans, you'd think we were 2-3 or worse.

I think we beat a team with a winning record next week.

The fact that Dallas did beat those sorry teams soundly and they were competitive in the two losses on the roads is the reason I say average to above average.

Otherwise, I would have them rated much worse.

We can interpret losses and performance however we want them, but the bottom line is Dallas is going to have to start winning those games or we will be on the outside looking in to the playoffs.

I truly think that Dallas has the capability and potential to be a great team...I do. Thinking it and them doing it though are two different matters. We will see what happens.

We better or things will really be looking bad, and that will not be subjective either.

Today's game is what I thought we'd see from Grossman much earlier in the season. I'm glad the real Grossman showed up. I was beginning to think I was crazy.

Grossman's performance today surpasses any struggles Bledsoe has had in his tenure here.

To Bledsoe's credit, he has def not looked as bad as Grossman did tonight.

No need to bench Grossman, chances are he will be injured soon enough. Also, it's pretty bad when you compare your starting QB to Rex Grossman in order to defend him.

LOL amen. But like I said, the problems with Grossman, to me, are the same problems Bledsoe has. No idea of the rush, locking on, poor under pressure, etc. But Grossman is like...a worse version of that.:lmao2:

If you undestood my point you would realize I was pointing out the folly of everyone losing their collective minds over a poor performance.

But hey, thanks for playing.
