It was moronic. So basically they invested all of their draft picks in one quarterback who may or may not be good lol. And they had to franchise him to retain him lol. They made it known the minute Robert was drafted that Cousins was his competition. What franchise qb goes through that?

What was the point of taking QB Steve Walsh when Aikman was the franchise QB? Jimmy Johnson even said that he would personally go to the airport to pick him up.

Or in the third round.

But I think there are way too many RGIII fans here due to ties to Baylor. Same for people wanting McCoy to be here as a backup when I don't see him being any better than the backups who were here last year...he just happens to be popular because of UT and the number of UT fans here.

Gotcha...can't say I disagree with you.

Wonder if the 9ers go after him with Kaep wanting to be traded?

After what happened last season how do Cowboy fans or the Cowboys have the nerve to say "no thank you " to ANYONE at quarterback is laughable lol. You are a Romo injury away from having Kellen Moore your starting qb. Let that sink in.

Between Moore and RGIII, Moore is the better QB. Go ahead and let THAT sink in, eh.

That would've been moronic too if Aikman didn't go on to win 3 Super Bowl rings. But even then that's one pick. They used two 1st's, a 2nd,3rd and 4th on Cousins and Robert. That's insane. But I guess if Cousijs goes on to win a Super Bowl it will be worth it though.

Well good for him. i'm sure he'll find a team not named the Dallas Cowboys that will sign him.

Hatcher will be released to. I'm sure he better than Golden Cock. ;)

He burned his bridge when he left the Cowboys. Wanted the Commanders and got the Deadskins. He will not be welcomed
back in Dallas. Maybe Chicago, they seem to like old Cowboy rejects.

I like Hatch...at least he's a team kind of guy when he's on contract.

Best thing abk=out Griffin was the NFl funny when they make up the words. "Hot soup. Where it at?"

I'm happy to see that this thread's activity is very scarce.

Everyone agrees that rg3 is not coming here and no one is spamming their personal agendas.

Today was a good day.

In football years, that was an eternity ago. Now if the Cowboys start running the read option, he may have a chance. But I doubt it.

Well a eternity ago is still a lot sooner than Kellen Moore has played good football in this league being he's NEVER done it at all.

You won't see me waiving pom-poms for Kellen Moore. But RGIII is certainly not the answer.

Griffin will probably get a chance to start somewhere. LA would be my guess.

I don't think he's coming here either. I'm just laughing at the thought of people saying "No thank you...." to a backup quarterback that's better than what we have right now and is still young. Even if it is a question mark a question mark is still intriguing.
