Maybe they didn't put it into the game plan and didn't practice it. That's my guess.

Can't be that hard to call a roll out or toss play if you haven't practiced it.

He had time to throw in a lot of cases but he was determined to get rid of the ball quickly. I do think his rib injury was a factor. He could have made better decisions and he would be the first to say it.

This. Why other people are so afraid to at this is beyond me.

Well, when the defense plays well-which they did. And the offensive line protects the QB well-which they did

I fully expect the QB to do his job for us to win the game. Tony didn't

You begin from a flawed premise. The QB's job is not to win the game. It's to play quarterback.

Guys.. Defenses know what we're doing.

I don't care how good your QB is if the offense you run is predictable.

We have to force passes in traffic just to hope for a big play.

it is time to stop saying things and to start doing them because people are tired of all the talking by the players/coaches/GM/owner and no walking by this team

i fear that at this stage in his career, romo is who he is

Yeah. Bc competing 90% of passes means something. It means nothing. He completed 75% yesterday and put up 16 points. 16 points won't cut it.

@espn_macmahon: Romo vs 4 or fewer rushers in KC: 82.6 comp %, 9.1 YPA. Romo vs. Chiefs blitz: 57.9 comp %, 4.6 YPA. (via @ESPNStatsInfo)

He can't beat the blitz. Period. End of discussion.

That's why we lost the game. You can blame anybody else you want. Find whatever excuses that will make you feel better. That stat is the story of the game.

we didnt beat the blitz last year too and you bet the eagles and skins will continue to bring it all game and the sad part is Romo was awesome against the blitz once upon a time.

Are you kidding me? Especially the way this offense has been making mistakes past few years. They can't even run plays that they supposedly practiced without mistakes.

So if the key to winning a game isn't on the game plan you just scrap the idea?

So why doesn't romo call any of that? He has full reign of this offense

Does he? I am not convinced he does. I think he can only go to certain plays that are pre-approved. Maybe I am really off base here, but something is missing and it reeks of Garrett and Callahan. Maybe the ribs are hurting more than we know. Maybe Romo has watched too much media scrutiny and is afraid to make more mistakes and is now gun-shy, I don't have the answers.

Simple matter of fact here, the defense only gave up 17 pts, that should be good enough to win most games. Romo failed, Callahan failed, Garrett failed, the gameplan failed, the whole offense failed.

Ok. And he didn't play QB well enough

He played a fantastic game if the gameplan was to avoid interceptions and dink and dunk. Since you seem to be all-knowing, what did the coaches say was our gameplan? Do you have an extra long 32x9 TV that shows Witten and Austin getting open every play? I don't.

Romo didn't know that time was running out at the end of the game. He was totally unaware that there were only 16 seconds on the clock. That bothers me more than anything. Normally his game awareness is pretty good in these situations. Granted, there wasn't enough time for anything but a miracle, but he was clueless about the clock. That bothers me. I hope he just played a bad quarter and it doesn't carry over into the rest of the season.

Do you really think JG is going to admit his game plan sucks and scrap it in the middle of the game?

What they should do is just scrap JG's crappy offense.

What makes you think this?

I don't agree

He played excellent in the 1H. What happened in the 2H? Game plan all of a sudden changed? Lets stop doing what's working? That's smart

Is that a fact or assumption made by you? Did he say that? I didn't hear anything so I'm curious.

He played well for most of the game, not just the first half. You must be another one of these Clove/ufcrules types who boils the whole game down to a couple of moments even though the game wouldn't be close to the same situation without all of the good stuff you conveniently leave out.

Having said that, maybe be played awful the whole game. I don't know and neither do you because I don't know what they are trying to do out there. I'll say it again, he played a brilliant game if the plan was to avoid interceptions and dink and dunk.
