Maybe they didn't put it into the game plan and didn't practice it. That's my guess.
Can't be that hard to call a roll out or toss play if you haven't practiced it.

He had time to throw in a lot of cases but he was determined to get rid of the ball quickly. I do think his rib injury was a factor. He could have made better decisions and he would be the first to say it.
Well, when the defense plays well-which they did. And the offensive line protects the QB well-which they did
I fully expect the QB to do his job for us to win the game. Tony didn't

Yeah. Bc competing 90% of passes means something. It means nothing. He completed 75% yesterday and put up 16 points. 16 points won't cut it.
@espn_macmahon: Romo vs 4 or fewer rushers in KC: 82.6 comp %, 9.1 YPA. Romo vs. Chiefs blitz: 57.9 comp %, 4.6 YPA. (via @ESPNStatsInfo)
He can't beat the blitz. Period. End of discussion.
That's why we lost the game. You can blame anybody else you want. Find whatever excuses that will make you feel better. That stat is the story of the game.
You begin from a flawed premise. The QB's job is not to win the game. It's to play quarterback.

Are you kidding me? Especially the way this offense has been making mistakes past few years.
So why doesn't romo call any of that? He has full reign of this offense
Ok. And he didn't play QB well enough
So if the key to winning a game isn't on the game plan you just scrap the idea?
Romo didn't know that time was running out at the end of the game. He was totally unaware that there were only 16 seconds on the clock. That bothers me more than anything. Normally his game awareness is pretty good in these situations. Granted, there wasn't enough time for anything but a miracle, but he was clueless about the clock. That bothers me. I hope he just played a bad quarter and it doesn't carry over into the rest of the season.
He played a fantastic game if the gameplan was to avoid interceptions and dink and dunk. Since you seem to be all-knowing, what did the coaches say was our gameplan? Do you have an extra long 32x9 TV that shows Witten and Austin getting open every play? I don't.

He played excellent in the 1H. What happened in the 2H? Game plan all of a sudden changed? Lets stop doing what's working? That's smart
Most likely KC's defense adjusted and we couldn't answer.
