Although most of what he said was true. If his intentions was to belittle and hurt Skips feelings he failed. An attention hound loves it whether it is good or bad...and by hound I am using a nicer word :D

If he really wanted to tick off Skip he should have just completely ignore him and his questions and only talk to Smith. That would have bothered skip more than anything.

Skip was mad, so I don't see how he failed at that aspect.

I loved it because Skip got his just desserts. But there is a better way to debate this and shut Skip down. The better tact would have been to show how Skip's opinions are really theatrics and have no validity to them rather than trying to pump up how great you are. This would get the crowd more on Sherman's side. Because he was bragging so much, it lost its effect on some people.

Although I give him credit...he's an amazing story.

No. Sherman clowned Bayless, and I'm happy about it.:laugh2:
How? Throwing out random insults and getting no response is not clowning someone. It's being a coward and a big mouth.

Sherman looked like an absolute idiot while Bayless was probably the most professional he has ever been.

"I'm better than you at life." What the heck does that even mean? What a loser Sherman is, absolute moron and attention *****. Skip let him say his piece, and then he just kept going, and going, and going...what a piece of garbage.

And fwiw, being an all-pro does not make you one of the top 22 players in the league. It means you had one of the 2 best seasons at your positions. I'm sure if you asked GMs it wouldn't be hard to make a list of like 75 guys they'd rather have over him.

Say what you want but Sherman is a good guy. I live in the Seattle area and he his great with the fans, not in a fake way but generaly likes talking and hanging out with them. He also gives back and does not get in trouble off the field while playing hard and given a 100% on, isn't that what everyone always wants in a player? I would love for the is guy and about 1/2 the Hawks D to play for the Cowboys.

And if you must know I was born and raised in the Dallas area and eneded up here through travel in the Military

Many seem to forget that Skip is a grown man and has the experience of debating multiple personalities.

Sherman is still a young kid at 24 years old and did very well for that type of stage against someone that makes their living being a demagog and throwing out purposeful misinformation to get a reaction.

Lowering yourself to Skip's level and calling him names doesn't make you better. If you're truly better than Bayless you would ignore him and live your life.

Sherman didn't come out of that looking any better than Bayless.

I'm not a Bayless fan at all. He's a talking head, who says things like this to get a rise out of people, and to get ratings. But as for Sherman, to me he came off looking like a fool, because he let Skip get in his head to the point where he felt he needed to go on TV and engage in a barrage of insults and name-calling. That's not being tough. That's not being cool. That's not putting someone in his place. That's just being immature. And he didn't say anything that Skip hadn't heard before. All Sherman did was let the whole world know that he can't handle someone saying anything negative about him.

He had a great season, no doubt. Skip didn't criticize his play. He just said he wasn't as good as Revis. Sherman couldn't handle it. He's turning into the current version of TO.

Sherman looked like a in that. And you can hate Skip all you want, but he has risen to the top of his career - and he's one of the best to ever do what he does. It doesn't mean you have to like him.

Sherman is the modern Lester Hayes. You have to love this guy, or hate him with all your soul. I wish he was a Cowboy. I'd love to see him rib kick Skip to a curb.

The modern Lester Hayes?

In what context?

I'm not a big Bayless fan but Sherman didn't do himself any favors. Sherman is now the target of every reporter in sports. He should never have said any of the personal comments he made. Those will come back to haunt him and when they do, he's going to get freight trained by the media because the media always takes care of their own. Always.

Skip Bayless gets on my nerves, but I think Sherman made a real jerk of himself.

"Ignorant, pompous, & egotistical" can describe that muddled rant that Sherman went on, he completely embarrassed himself there. I don't know much of anything about this dude but if this incident is anything to go by then he may have some serious mental issues, he looked unstable throughout the entire thing.

Skip Bayless is an entertainer on an entertainment sports talk show and network. He isn't talking about gay marriage, abortion, the economy, or foreign policy, he's talking about friggin Lebron James and Tim Tebow. I can understand disagreeing with whatever he may say(which is the whole point of the debate format) but all the pure hatred and vitriol directed his way is baffling.

Sherman accomplished more in that game than Skip will in his entire worthless life.

You sound just as childish and arrogant as Sherman, who are you to call someone else life worthless?

Skip has worked hard for many years to carve out an impressive niche for himself in a pretty cutthroat business. He's now a key cornerstone on one of the highest rated shows on the largest sports network on the planet.

I don't see how that's in any way worthless.

I can't stand the guy, and maybe that is clouding my judgement. If you think floating unfounded rumors that Troy Aikman is gay, and that sort of thing is impressive and respectable, so be it.
