I love how espn and sporting news on the radio reported it as former cowboys running back.....the guy was a coach for the jets last year and played all but 2 years in the league with the jets...and they say former cowboy in the headline...

ridiculous.
I love this kind of thing. This is what I mean by embrace the hatred. Laugh at this kind of thing. Relish it. Like a starving man relishes the taste of food in his mouth again and knows he isn't going to die soon. Let this soothe you.

From a personal standpoint it is harsh. From an employee management position it is the right call. Coaches have to be held to a higher standard. Their credibility, discipline and judgment is at stake as they have to influence players to do their best and even behave off the field.

The coach in Detroit that got caught drunk and naked has 9 lives.

I know, I truly believe it was the right call for him to get fired, just annoyed that not everybody is held to those same standards in the NFL, including players. But if Leinart/Boldin/Fitzgerald go out and get caught doing the same thing then they should get fired just like Richie. If you fire a couch because of the credabillity and discipline issues it'd cause then you have the fire the faces of your franchise (on the field) too because the same thing will happen. If Leinart goes out partying hires a prostitute and only gets a slap on the wrist what's going to stop the other players from doing the same thing? Just because they fired a position coach?

Let´s put it this way, I don´t think they would cut Leinart for that.

I bet if you asked Leinart if he paid for his stay at the Hilton, he'd tell you he's still paying for it in more ways than one..

Richie pays for sex and gets fired.... Pacman/Little/Lewis were all involved in one way or another with murders/shootings yet they continue to make millions..... I guess position coaches don't get a second/third chance.

(gasp!) Unionized.

Face it, front offices are loath to fire players because of the players union.
Coaches can be replaced better than a player can be.
Then again, there was the Detroit (?) who was driving while naked and he was kept. Maybe if he had been driving while naked while in the company of a um, party girl, he'd been fired.

:)

I'm sorry but :lmao: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao: @ Richie Anderson
You're not sorry;), it was an embarassing move on his part. Mortifying to say the least, I pray he moves on and shapes up.

I bet he just thought she was a homeless person out there washing people's windows at 3 am. Maybe he was looking to get that bulbous dome waxed.

Didn't Anderson get accused of something similiar to this before?

Yes, Anderson got caught for soliciting Bill Parcells in the locker room.
