I'm fine with Talib, but how would we pass up a WR like Sweed and Hardy and draft Jackson, who is a tootpick lining up at WR, he has no thickness in his upper body like Steve Smith or Galloway, which is why those little guys have lasted so long, plus he has no NFL caliber route running ability, he relies on his speed all the time.

After the whole pot thing I would still like us to get Cason over Talib, although I wouldnt be sad if we ended up with Talib.

This is guarenteed to not be what the draft is like.

This is Goose's crazy mock, as his second one always is.

Next Friday or Saturday will be his Top 100 and this 3rd Mock which will pretty much nail the first round.

His second mock is always--and intentionally--out there, so you can pretty sure it doesn't got that way.

Yeah, count on it. This one has 6 RBs in Round 1....not sure that has ever happened in the past 20 years.

If it did go down like this, Dallas would have to scramble some in round 2 or 3 to get value at RB. Rice and maybe even Forte would be long gone by pick 61. Choice would be an option, but 2nd round seems too high for him.

Yeah. I'm wondering where he'll rank Cason.

Jerod Mayo seems to be moving up.

That's what I was thinking exactly.

I think they are ready to flat cut Benson.

If they draft Stewart it is to start. Benson can cry all he wants.

I agree. Benson is flat out terrible anyway... He was sooo overrated at UT it wasn't even funny... He would have good games against Baylor, but when OU ruled the Big 12, Benson couldn't do jack squat.

Not wild about either of the picks. I'd expect more from my 22nd pick then that he shortens the field for Romo. Heck, Romo & our offense could score from anywhere on the field including starting in our own end zone. Talib isn't really my choice at CB; rather wait for Antoine Cason at #28 or in the 2nd round.

:hammer:

Sweed is WAY overrated... I would trade for a vet WR in a heartbeat before even considering Sweed. His size is the the sole reason he is in first round mock drafts anyway.

Thank god this is his stupid mock. I will be physicaly ill if this were to happen.

Two bad picks. If this happened I would hope to be drinking heavily in a bar somewhere.... Just like Goose had to of been when he coughed up this hairball of a mock draft obviously..

I'm in the minority, but I would rejoice if the 1st round went down like that

get Ray Rice at 61, or trade up for him, and that would do it for me, the rest would be gravy

I will be physically ill if we take Johnson at 22. What a stoopid pick.

I really like Rice at 61 also.

If we can come away with Cason, Detroit's Roy Williams, and Rice, I'll be happy. Although, I don't think Rice or Cason will fall to us in the second round.

It also depends on how much RW will cost.

Those two picks look reversed to me. Not saying that's not where they maybe ought to be picked but I don't see them risking missing out on a top grade CB at 22 in hopes he will be there at 28. And is Sean so good they pass on that other WR from TX? I guess he knows something we don't. I thought they would take Sweed at 28 and Talib at 22. But mine are just guesses based on zero fact.

i'm willing to bet his final mock, which is the one everyone grades is going to be talib and jones and i bet he has both picks right.

I wouldn't bet against that. I'd rather have Stewart but I don't see him falling far enough.

Does anyone see us giving up a pick to move up 3+ to grab Stewart. I don't see Dallas as being that hot for Stewart to do that. But I'd much rather have him than Jones for a first round pick.

I would think they are more apt to do that for one of the top three corners.

We're starting to get close to the draft and everyone's seen so many mock that we sometimes start projecting what the herd is saying.

Count on there being a big surpirse or two just like last year.
I don't recall any mock here or on any service saying that Quinn would drop as far as he did. It should be fun.

I'm guessing Cason will be around 40-45. OK I used a dart board. :D

I'd like to trade the 28 to Atl for 2 of those 2nd rounders they have and get Cason and a WR.

That would be sweet to grab Cason and Hardy with those 2 second rounders. I don't want any WR in the first unless it's Boldin or Williams.

If we want a punt returning receiver, Eddie Royal can probably be had in the second round...heck...maybe even early third round. I don't think he's much of a drop off from Desean Jackson.

Give me a top corner in the first and the pick best available for the other pick.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned that he has Jamaal Charles going in the top 20!

Most mocks I've seen recently had Charles going in the mid-late 2nd, many had us selecting him at 61.... I've been on the Jamaal Charles bandwagon since the begining, it looks like it may be getting crowded... I liked it better when I thought there was a chance of getting him in the 2nd, but yeah, I'd use a 1st on him if need be...

I'm guessing that Goose thinks we're actually going to draft Charles in the 1st, and I think this is his way of saying he approves... I really like Charles, and I hope we draft him... IMO, he's the best possible compliment to Barber... The Rushing was okay last year with Julius, it would be better with Charles, even as a rookie... I know guys like Chris Johnson put up fast 40-times, but I've actually seen Charles play, and I've never seen him get caught in the open-field, plus he's damn shifty... He'll be the homerun threat that Julius was supposed to be....
