Rickey Henderson, Oakland A's great and hall-of-famer, dead at 65

OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland Athletics’ legend, MLB Hall-of-Famer and one of the greatest players in baseball history, Rickey Henderson has passed at the age of 65.


His death was confirmed by MLB on FOX's ‘X’ account.

I saw this while on the phone. I paused for minute without realizing. The guy was a rookie while my mother was in high school and retired in my senior year in high school. We may never see a greater leadoff hitter or base stealer like him. May he RIP.
