the online is fixed that's the thing if they find a way to get these younger players on the field next year the best five that is why rico's having a good run right now three games in a row but really we saw it in the Pittsburgh game earlier in the year the problem is the offensive line coach in our offensive coordinator and our head coach are pretty much all the same person didn't see this needed to be done when Dayton got hurt the first time and we saw what bass and Hoffman looked on the field together our run game instantly looked better they should've saw it they should've fixed it they seemed like they didn't wanna move Tyler Smith the left tackle they seem hesitant to do so for no good reason but if you wanna get your best 5 youngest strongest more physical with a little bit of attitude on the field at the same time sometimes you gotta move one of the players you choose not to move we have the players they weren't utilized probably this is a coaching staff issue it has been for a very long time maybe they've seen the light maybe we'll go into next year and they understand why our run game looks better why our offense on the whole looks better too little too late though they could've been doing this when Prescott was healthy.... Now our defense started getting better our run game's getting better and it's too lateDeveloping nicely for sure, fix the oline and he could certainly be serviceable
They need to re-sign Dowdle and draft a back with speed. Have a 1-2 punch. I love how Rico runs but he takes (and dishes out) a lot of hits.Just further proof that rbs can be found anywhere. There is no need to use premium draft picks and give them big contracts. Rico has been a revelation not only to fans but to the coaching staff as well. If we had been giving him 20 carries a game all season, we might be a lot better than 6-8.
The interesting thing now is that he's an UFA at seasons end. Does he get a big contract?
Emmit Smith wasn't a big or fast rb either. He didn't go down at first contact and had great balance.. Rico reminds me a lot of Emmitt. I'd like to see Rico back next year, but he might have earned himself a bigger pay day than the Cowboys can afford. As soon as he passes that 1k mark, he'll get a lot more respect and his price will go up. Carolina is probably looking real close at him after what he just did to them. They have a ton cap room. They need to re-sign Dowdle and draft a back with speed. Have a 1-2 punch. I love how Rico runs but he takes (and dishes out) a lot of hits.
Carolina has a 1000 yard back in Hubbard and also drafted the Brooks kid out of Texas last year. They're probably done investing in RBs after getting bit by the Miles Sanders contract.Emmit Smith wasn't a big or fast rb either. He didn't go down at first contact and had great balance.. He's an UFA at seasons end and he's earned a sizable pay raise. He is good enough to be RB1 next season to allow resources to go elsewhere, specifically, interior D, linebacker, safety and WR.
Agree and I think they have a bigger problem at QB. That kid is too small and slight of build to ever be an effective QB in this league.Carolina has a 1000 yard back in Hubbard and also drafted the Brooks kid out of Texas last year. Agree but would rather Dallas sign than to waste a high pick on a RB. He won’t command over 3-4 million/per…….I wouldn’t think so anyways. He's an UFA at seasons end and he's earned a sizable pay raise.
If he passes 1k on this team behind this OL, he might have a few suitors other than us.Agree but would rather Dallas sign than to waste a high pick on a RB. He won’t command over 3-4 million/per…….I wouldn’t think so anyways.
