Bet? 3 years 12mil..Let’s be honest. Stephen will offer him a 1 year, $1.2 million deal and be shocked when he says no.

wrong ran this well against Pittsburgh., if you actually watch the games and do anything besides being a casual fan you know he just simply wasn't being used he was only given 8 carries a game the first eight games of the year up until that Pittsburgh game and then after that iced by his own coach until he figured out that he can run the damn football you just have to hand him the damn football should I say damn football if you don't get carries you can't produce you act like he didn't produce I mean what were you watching he just wasn't being given the opportunity because our coats sucked...You’re joking, right? Dowdle gained 100+ against the 20th, 31st, and 32nd ranked defenses against the run. Two of the teams are literally the worst D’s in the league against the run, and the Bengals are terrible as well. To better illustrate why he’s not the guy, he couldn’t run the ball a lick when we had a better O-line earlier in the year, and he has only been successful against the very worst run defenses. I’d LOVE to be wrong and see him bang the yards out against decent teams, but he never has, not even once. I just don’t think something clicks in an RBs game 13 games into a season, but maybe I’m wrong. I just don’t think I am.

I gotta be honest though I'm not sure last night was a knock on Dowdle nearly as much as it was a knock on how quickly the fans overrated the OL after a few really good weeks. I'm not sure Emmitt in his prime gets much more than Dowdle yesterday. This appreciation was built off the Giants, Panthers and Bungles.
Yesterday the Bucs and their 27th ranked defense in ypg held Rico to 1.8 yards per game.....the Eagles defense ranks top 5 in that stat.
Fair point. There was also a thread praising the oline when this one came out so it's part and parcel of this topicI gotta be honest though I'm not sure last night was a knock on Dowdle nearly as much as it was a knock on how quickly the fans overrated the OL after a few really good weeks. He has some speed. 4.5/4.6He lacks the ability to shake the first tackler. I know he didn't have a lot of running room against Tampa, but when it did appear he had some daylight he couldn't lose the first guy to hit him, the dude is soft!
