Rico Dowdle Appreciation Thread

the online is fixed that's the thing if they find a way to get these younger players on the field next year the best five that is why rico's having a good run right now three games in a row but really we saw it in the Pittsburgh game earlier in the year the problem is the offensive line coach in our offensive coordinator and our head coach are pretty much all the same person didn't see this needed to be done when Dayton got hurt the first time and we saw what bass and Hoffman looked on the field together our run game instantly looked better they should've saw it they should've fixed it they seemed like they didn't wanna move Tyler Smith the left tackle they seem hesitant to do so for no good reason but if you wanna get your best 5 youngest strongest more physical with a little bit of attitude on the field at the same time sometimes you gotta move one of the players you choose not to move we have the players they weren't utilized probably this is a coaching staff issue it has been for a very long time maybe they've seen the light maybe we'll go into next year and they understand why our run game looks better why our offense on the whole looks better too little too late though they could've been doing this when Prescott was healthy.... Now our defense started getting better our run game's getting better and it's too late
I've been saying it for years. Our problems definitely starts with our coaches and their stubbornness.

ONE should remember just what defenses we have faced these last three games.

BUT if he keeps producing he is going to get offers higher than our brain trust(sic) is willing to spend

One thing this team does well is find undrafted free agents. I wish we had gotten him involved earlier but I think a lot of this has to do with Zach Martin being out of the lineup. There was just nowhere to run on that side. Dak being out also helps because now they have to respect the pass.

Developing nicely for sure, fix the oline and he could certainly be serviceable
Exactly…..maybe we can use our top picks for other holes instead of a RB…..as long as the line is improved and settled, maybe Rico can pull the load.

If that Michigan DT is there when we pick, I would want him over a RB. He seems way more of a prospect that Mazi ever was.
Both Michigan DT’s are an upgrade over Mazi. Too bad Dallas is out of the running for either now. Walker is the next best bet IMO.

Emmit Smith wasn't a big or fast rb either. He didn't go down at first contact and had great balance.. Rico reminds me a lot of Emmitt. I'd like to see Rico back next year, but he might have earned himself a bigger pay day than the Cowboys can afford. As soon as he passes that 1k mark, he'll get a lot more respect and his price will go up. Carolina is probably looking real close at him after what he just did to them. They have a ton cap room.
Lol...I said Ricos style reminded me of Emmitt in the game thread and got ridiculed.

Which is why I hate garbage wins…..dropping our chances of getting a game changer, especially at a position of need.

For comparison

TONY POLLARD - 230 carries, 982 yards, 4.3 YPC, 5 TDs, 39 Receptions. 3 100 yard games

RICO DOWDLE - 177 carries, 880 yards, 5.0 YPC, 1 TD, 33 Receptions, 3 straight 100 yard games

tap the breaks guys: The Giants were 29th against the run, the Bengals 23rd and the Panthers 32nd by a wide margin
Come on now. Washington hasn’t beat a winning team all season but they’ve been crowned here as being an elite team.

The Panthers lost 30-27 to the Chiefs and should have knocked off Philly at home. They were favored due to recent play.

still playing the run badly so that lessens the importance of Rico's stats
