Good for Rico. You could definitely see his effort with the way he ran for us as time went on last season. This is hard work paying off. Next step is to try to get a multiyear deal next season. Not bad for someone few thought we'd get much out of as an undrafted player.

Yes, for only a 1 year deal? What an idiot. He should have stayed in Dallas. Would have been the full-time starting RB, been getting paid $4 mil/season, plus all of the sponsors and commercial money being made off the field simply for wearing the Star on his helmet.

May make people lean Jeanty but with Pete Carroll being a run heavy guy, and having his QB now, will the Raiders go Jeanty? If not the silver and black, what about the Bears? There focus would have been O-line for sure but they just brought in the starting interior for this season.

Say Jeanty goes at six, do you start to get nervous at who may be there at 44 (assuming Cowboys wouldn’t go Hampton at 12). There will be very capable guys at 44 and later but you reach a point where those players are complimentary types and not lead dogs.

I thought Rico deserved more carries while in Dallas and although he wasn’t a world beater, he was a solid back. This now makes a position of need the Cowboys may end up chasing during the draft and that often times leads to bad things in Dallas.

Only a one year deal too. People forget Rico was constantly banged up until last year. Had two hip issues if I remember correctly.
