Rico Gathers done talking concussions

Are we sure Heath gave Rico the concussion, or was it Witten? ;)

I don't understand this attitude. How much time do you want him to be spending in the offseason working out? 2 hours a day? 4? 8?

It's the offseason, if he wants to work on some musical hobbies let's let these guys live their lives.
I would say he was being sarcastic but this is cowboyszone

I thought it was Nolan Carroll,,, I'm also thinking you're posting in jest,Aven8 ;)

Man! From the limited preview we got from him in pre season & after that utter & complete lack of attention the coaching staff exhibited in addressing 'issues' in the Falcon's game,,,,there's no reason whatsoever as to why the RICO shouldn't see the field and put in some meaningful playing time in The 2018 season,,,o_O

Exactly. They’re all part-time football players because football season is only 5 months - or in our case, 4 months.

Next year is Rico’s year. No more stashing him, he either legit makes the roster or not. The kid has mad natural talent - as fans let’s pull for him to turn that into on-the-field results. It’d make the Cowboys a better team.

I want him to treat it like a real job. I don't want a guy thinking about the 'offseason' where he doesn't have to try to improve. He's not a shoe in for the hall of fame yet, is he? There is a lot more to football than being big and strong, so I'm not sure about the working out reference. Jason Witten has perfected the art of finding open space, maybe Rico should be trying to figure out how he does that so that he can use his superior athleticism to be a better version of Witten. Or he could focus on making music until training camp and then just wing it, I suppose that's a viable approach too.
