Please put all ridiculous coaching suggestions here so I will know how to avoid them.

No college coach will even be considered, unless he has NFL experience...serious experience, not a TE's coach or quality control guy...this was said pretty clearly by JJ himself.

No coaches currently under contract....this team has "some" talent, but we are still talent challenged enough that I would not give a #1 draft pick for any coach who'd really want to come here.

We don't need a genius...we need a good offseason in FA and the draft to address WR, FB, OL, OL, OL, and possibly even RB, along with CB and possibly DL? We will be fine if we have a good, creative, offensive minded coach and a solid, flexible, hardworking defensive coach.

Might as well throw Tom Landry out there. He's still better than some of the guys being mentioned.

Watch out for the Jerry Jones smokescreen. Be assured that Bob Stoops is on his short list.

I like that Georgia Tech coach.

It's unfortunate many would label him as a "ridiculous" candidate. He deserves another shot at the NFL.

This thread is dangerous -- had the Zone existed in the early 90s we might have said "Barry Switzer!!!!" then

I may need to stick with one of my old stock answers....

Paul Crewe and Nate Scarbro.
