Let's revisit. :D

1 (22) Felix Jones RB Arkansas From Cleveland
1 (25) Mike Jenkins CB South Florida From Seattle
2 (61) Martellus Bennett TE Texas A&M
4 (122) Tashard Choice RB Georgia Tech From Cleveland
5 (143) Orlando Scandrick CB Boise State From Chicago through Buffalo and Jacksonville
6 (167) Erik Walden DE Middle Tennessee State From Miami for Jason Ferguson trade

Bennett, Choice, and Scandrick were all steals.

With the exception of our last pick, every one of those draft picks has already contributed this year! That's just plain sick. I think this draft will rank up there with some of our best ever when it's all said & done. :clap2:  :clap2:

Funny, we went 13-3, but I shudder thinking about where we would be without these rookies. They have flat out won games for us.

Got to love the passion that Choice and Scandrick play with. And who said that Bennett wasnt motivated..I can only imagine how good they can be after a few years. Three headed monster at running back next year.. what a thought...

i think it had more to do with wade!

So...lets get this straight....when bad picks are made, it's JJ....when good picks are made it's the coach right?

Is that the game we're playing?

But Jerry hired Wade and the scouting staff. Any decision made circles back to Jerry ;)

Yea, we actually owe a couple of our wins to our rookie class.

I think this draft may go down as one of the best drafts of all time for the franchise, mainly because EVERYBODY has contributed (except for Walden).

Cowboy way, I used to have a Camaro like yours

Sold it a couple years ago. It was a painful experience. I still have nightmares.

That is an excellent point. 2009 we really need to focus on the OL and DL first

wooooaaaa, settle down there boy.

The Emmitt Smith draft was by far, the best. got us 3 Superbowls. Care to revisit the details on that one????????

Let us win a Superbowl here, then talk. Reminds me of the old story about the "old Bull, Young Bull"......

I've got 7 years of College, remember that

And Walden would have contributed too if he had been kept, as he should have been.

No, keep Choice. If somebody has to be traded, make it Barber.

:star: I like Barber but will not have the long term impact of Choice.

Really outstanding draft and I'm usually the harshest critic of "GM Jerry" around. My hat is off to him.

Choice was a steal and Scandrick was as well. Bennett was always a 1st round talent and is showing it.

Wait til next year when a healthy Felix Jones, a more mature/established Martellus Bennett, and an adjusted Roy Williams (I know he isn't a rookie) are all fixtures on the offense.

Great draft--Tuna would have picked more worthless linemen.

Tuna would have picked more Bobby Carpenters in the first round.
