Dude i think you may have a problem in realizing that the internet is not reality. This is a message board for cowboys fans. We love to talk football. We love to complain. We love to cut on each other for their opinions.

You need to realize that the cowboys have more fans than any team in the country. How can you really believe that a few peoples opinions on a message board can tell you enough about the cowboys fans to say you are ashamed?

We are ashamed of you.

I live very close to philly and they have the worst fan base you could ever imagine. Cowboys fans are moderate in every way compared to the morons in philly. They should be ashamed not us. They had a judge and jail in their stadium. Thats shameful. They turned over a port a potty that a guy wearing a barry sanders jersey from detroit went into during a playoff game in philly.
There are stories of fans getting cursed out and physically attacked in the stadium for cheering for another team. I have seen a man with his little girl get blasted with about 20 cups of beer while sitting in the stands for liking the cowboys. When the guy has enough and tries to stand up for himself he gets punched and kicked by multiple drunk philly slobs. Thats embarrassing.

So put it in perspective.

Have you ever heard a Cowboy fan base that didn't question playcalling / coaching?

It may be fair right now to do this but we could be the most well coached team in the league and this would be a complaint.

They do the same exact things on the Commanders, Eagles, Falcons, Texans and Vikings Board.

In another life, I use to post on all of those message boards.

Whining and complaining is what fans do.

It happens. It's pissing, moaning, crying, and complaining because our team didn't take care of, and hasn't taken care of business, like they were supposed to in a long time.

I wouldn't be ashamed - I mean whinging and bleating and pantwetting isn't representative of all Cowboys fans. There will always be bad apples, doesn't mean apples are bad.

Great Super Bowl?

Please. Some people are either short-sighted or just plain young.

The last "great" Super Bowl was Denver/Green Bay. This Super Bowl doesn't compare at all.

It was a great SB.
It had an instant sports classic: a 100-yard interception runback.
It had a team come back to take the lead in the last few minutes.
It had an instant sports classic catch: holmes hanging on in the closing seconds.

Great SB.
Your great took place in the last century, right?
This one was yesterday. And it was a great one.

After reading these threads blaming everything from the refs, to calling the Steelers thieves, ragging all over Big Ben & even Eli from last year, I'm feeling sick right now.
Have we really sunk to that level? Is everything an excuse when it comes to Romo or TO, & yet we've forgotten to even acknowledge a GREAT SUPER BOWL when we've seen one?
Really?
So now the Steelers 6 rings ain't legit, & the Giants title last year is invalid,
because the refs stole it for Pittsburgh, & Eli got "lucky"- whatever that means!
Yet Tony Romo, & TO, are sitting at home watching clutch peformance
after clutch performance- and all we have left is whining.

How PATHETIC is that?:bang2:

This mentality CAN'T be representative of Cowboy's fans, cause if it is
then we deserve everything we've gotten the last 13 years!

Furthermore, despite popular belief that Cowboyszone has the market cornered on "extremism", what you described occurs on just about every Team Messageboard on the Internet.

Yep. I have even proved it before by linking to the identical threads on other teams' forums to demonstrate to the faction of whiners who's favorite hobby is to criticize other fans of the same team. I truly believe they are searching through every post for ANYTHING they can point to and claim they are a better fan than the person posting.

It betrays an inferiority complex most surely. They should be worried about themselves rather than worry about how some anonymous internet poster chooses to display their stress over losses/bad performances.

Of course these are ALL opinions.... INCLUDING yours :p: but there is no denying that the last two have been back to back classics(yet another opinion - mine :p:)

The last 2 SBs - tit for tat TD's in the closing minutes. Pats thought they sealed the deal then GIants score.

Cards thought they sealed the deal - then the Stealers score and win.

As far as football goes - two great SB's

was a good superbowl although i hate the steelers. the first half the refs seemed to be completely biased but things evened out. if you don't think this was a good superbowl you are quite insane in my opinion. i think cards played slightly better than the steelers, but hey we played better than the steelers and lost to them too. i hate big ben :(

And point well taken! I especially appreciate that you didn't change the subject, or shift the focus to something else, or attack me for having my opinion. Gracias.

But yet you started this thread to attack others for their opinions. Before posting next time ask your self this, "is what I am posting hypocritical?"
