I haven't seen any discussion on the ROH nor the halftime ceremony other than it seems all living members were in attendance.

How'd it go? Is it set up like it was in Texas stadium? (older names behind Cowboys bench...triplets behind the visitors?)

Is the lettering the same, or did it change?

Anyone have pics?

it is set up like at TS just as you asked.
the only player not there was Meredith, i have heard that he has suffered
some strokes and just cannot get out and about.

Drew Pearson needs to be inducted into the ROH. It's a travesty he's not in there. I read somewhere there's a rift between Jerry and Drew over some marketing rights or something of that nature and that's keeping him out of the ROH.

they dont have them yet, i had thought they were going to do that
sunday night.
not sure if they intended to and didnt when the game turned out the way
it did or if Jerry intends to do it another time.

at least i couldnt find them if they did it sunday heck there was so much
going on i could have missed it.

In Madden 10 they have them hanging from the bottom of the scoreboard, and they look sweet! but that's not happening in real life. :

I was disappointed w/the new ROH. I guess I just expected 'more' from Jerry, something new & cutting edge. Got the same old same old instead.

Yeah the banners do look cool hanging off the video board in Madden. I wonder if they were originally going to be placed there and now the org is trying to find another suitable place for them to go. Honestly, hanging them in the rafters of that huge stadium, they will get lost.

I don't like how Jerry went from the traditional blue background with white writing to the reverse here. Why would he do that?

Just guessing, it would be because it would've been too dark. If you've noticed, Jerry's going away from the royal blue to the more darker navy blue.

If he'd made that banner dark blue, it might have bled into the color of the seating and not stood out. Having a white background with blue letters SHOULD make it stand out.

I guess he could add stars or something just for detailing purposes.

I appreciate the fact that the names aren't digital instead of them being projected from one of the digital ribbon boards that go around the stadium. I think that's a nice touch in such a high tech stadium.

I'm holding out for the new Cowboys Hall of Fame they're going to build later.

I was hoping that the digital boards that ring the stadium would have been used somehow (showing highlights of each ROH player?). Even static shots of the ROH players placed above or by their names would have been unique.


The white background w/dark lettering does nothing for me, just does not pop and looks out of place in that ultra modern stadium.

i suppose you want him to go back and change all the SB rings to something more like this......

I like the way he left them traditional looking...they look like theyve been there a while not some new flashy thing he just came up with
