Drew Pearson, Larry Allen, Harvey Martin would probably be my Top 3, followed by Waters, and maybe Jay Novacek.

I wonder if Jerry will admit some additional players to the Ring this coming season after we open the new stadium? Very possible.

I would go Drew Pearson by himself. He deserves it, he was one of the greats and if you could somehow put yourself back to those great days, he was a HUGE part of those great teams.

Jerry, do the right thing, induct him.

It's always seemed odd to me that Jimmy's name hasn't gotten more cries from the masses. A lot of fans seemed to side with Jimmy in the Jones-vs.-Johnson battle, and he's a guy who brought this franchise two Super Bowls and set it up for a third.

And I agree Pearson needs to get in. While I like the fact that the Ring of Honor doesn't get watered down with every Tom, Dick and Harry that has been to a Pro Bowl for the franchise, Pearson is a pretty legendary figure in Cowboys lore. From Mr. Clutch to the Hail Mary to the Original 88, he's more than just some run-of-the-mill Pro Bowler.

Co sign on this. I've been watching a bunch of Cowboys games from the 70s this offseason and Pearson was a stud, big-game performer. Just as valuable as Irvin imo, albeit in a slightly different way.

Pearson should be in the HOF

I'd like to see some of the deserving older generation inducted before their contributions are completely forgotten. Drew Pearson is still remembered, but the memory of a few other greats is beginning to fade. So my three are:

1. Drew Pearson
2. John Niland (Our great linemen have especially been neglected)
3. Cornell Green

Drew Pearson should be. Still not sure about Waters. I'm not objective about him. You can't open up to everyone so it gets tough. Jimmy Johnson wasn't here long enough.

for pearson to get in, he'd probably have to come out publicly and apologize to jerry for trademark infringement first.

Out of curiosity, why is that?
