IMO, Moose deserves the ring of honor. He is the best FB in team history and one of the top 2 of the era, along with the Niners FB, whose name escapes me.

I loved me some 44, but 48 is the top dog on my list.
Rathman.

Some useless trivia here; a close friend of my wife's dated Moose here in Dallas and also at Syracuse. They both ended up marrying other people, but my wife and her friends say he was a good dude straight up.

Mike Lynn

Yep, as I recall he was the Minnesota GM who eventually got fired after we sent Herschel Walker to Minny and virtually restructured our team with the bounty of players we got. Jimmy had conned him on that deal, cut many of the players we got and finally ended up with primo draft picks in their stead -- one of which was Emmitt Smith. It was like the Brink's armored car robbery all over again! That heist pretty much produced our first Super Bowl title for us. Good times.

Harvey Martin was an unrepentant wife beater. No way does he deserve honor.

That surely won't help his legacy, although he still managed to distinguish himself as a hellacious DE. Of course, being honored in the ROH is a proposition that might never come to pass. With all the emphasis being placed on domestic violence now, it probably won't happen.

And Walker ended up back with the Cowboys later. I always thought that was funny. lol

Other than Ronnie Lott getting his pinky finger cut off to finish a game that was impressive .

That didn't happen. Lott had his pinkie finger amputated in the off season to ensure he would be ready for the next season. Had he chose surgery, the rehab probably would have cost him a few games in the 1986 season. I believe he regrets the decision.

There are a few that should be up there and Harvey Martin is one of them.
I agree Harvey Martin should also be in the Hall of Fame. He still holds the unofficial record for sacks with 23.He has more sacks than Fred Dean who is in the HOF. Co-MVP of a Super Bowl. 70's All Decade Team......I think more than anything a bunch of Dallas Haters who can't forgive him for throwing the funeral wreath in the Commanders lockerroom ending their playoff hopes.

Woody played in a game with his arm hanging by his side. Think about that for a minute. Full cast and he was still out there. No use of it. Other than Ronnie Lott getting his pinky finger cut off to finish a game that was impressive. Those men don't exist anymore. maybe some can post a clip..I don't remember the game, but I watched it.
I miss him. I remember watching him play and I knew he was good but I don't think I appreciated him like I should of. I found that out real quick when he wasn't playing anymore just how hard he was going to be to replace. He's also one of the few ex-players that's really good as an analyst. He isn't a total Cowboys homer and he breaks down plays and players very well. I definitely agree about Woodson
