I hear ya. Not trying to be difficult... But, for me, you have to break into the 40's to start to get close... High 40's then the pressure is on.
No one in recent history has approached the record.

A Yankee fan, DiMaggio is way before me. Not really a fanboy of his but I appreciate the 56 plus the following 20 something streak after the streak was broken.
Something like getting at least one hit in 75 out of 76 games. I don't feel like looking it up.
