RIP Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac

So many good songs of hers told the tale of that band's (and the country in general, at times) ups and downs.
"Don't Stop" tried to get us looking forward
"Over My Head" was light and breezy
"Songbird" was a pretty ballad....

Isn't it ironic that her "Everywhere" is all over the place with Chevrolet in some great commercials showing people having fun and singing along. That is one of the "Hook Queen's" more infectious songs and I defy anyone to be sad when listening to that song.

I usually don't like songs used commercially but the first time I saw that ad, I was OK this time. Really a feel good.

May she RIP. As she was so underrated. Always in the shadow of Stevie Nicks but really a huge star. God bless her loved ones.

I really liked Stevie Nicks; but as happens all too often the Flash gets a lot more ink then substance does

Her maiden name was Christine Perfect. I imagine that the "miss perfect" jokes got pretty old after a while. She'll be missed.

As others have said, I didn't realize she was that old, but it makes sense as I remember Fleetwood Mac was big in 70's when I was in High School.

I loved her voice and nearly all my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs were sung by her.

I looked up Grace Slick and she is in her 80's.
