One of the founders of the Mercy Sound that was considered the pretty side of the British Invasion and the anthem of the Mods. It was interesting to see how this co-existed and was as popular as the Rockers' side with the Animals, Kinks and Stones.

Man, while they were invading, Motown, Chess and Stax were peaking and it was the greatest time in modern music history.

Nah, for me 1950's were the greatest for music. R&B, Doo Wop, Rock n Roll, etc.
