I’ve heard that report has not been confirmed

on a side note you wouldn’t catch me on a helicopter. The ones in Hawaii, NY, Alaska crash frequently it seems. One of my best friends flew them in Desert Storm after the Air Force Academy. Lost his whole squadron in Vegas on a training mission and he told me once something goes wrong there is almost nothing you can do

I think MAYBE foggy conditions threw him off and MAYBE,time will tell, he wasn't properly trained..I mean I dunno...but ground fog can be a beotch I hear when in flight,even for experienced pilots.

Buddy Holly actually died in an airplane crash. A number of singers died in plane crashes including Jim Croce and Patsy Cline. Members of Lynyrd Skynyrd died in a plane crash in 1977.
