Lots of internet-tough-guying-it-up in this thread. Why is it when a game goes good or goes bad, Romo/Garrett fans and/or Romo/Garrett detractor's first instinct is to go after other posters on this board? We can't support/criticize these guys without people getting personal, it seems

Welcome to the internet and the way people seem to just act stupid toward one another cause they're not face to face.

It's typical everywhere on the internet.

It's troubling to me that people around here feel the need to blame other posters for everything that goes wrong, and this comes from all sides of the argument. I'm not even sure who to blame, but I sure as hell know it isnt anyone here.

Like I said it's typical on the internet. It's never going to change.

Does Arizona have some weird state law requiring you to reply? Seems like if you really were tired of it you would just not reply, they got ignore buttons bud, if your just oh so tired.

You realise as a mod, or admin, that he doesn't have that fancy ignore button like you do, right?

:bang2: we already have a young favre. Say no to the old banged up, just collecting a pay check 1.

Blame the Cowboys for that.

Bingo

The anger and misery people are seeing is not the result of "defeatist" or "girly" fans, it's the result of the team we love choking and losing a game they had no business losing. Blame the Dallas Cowboys, not the mindset of internet posters.

No you didn't tyke. You accused this forum, in particular those who run it, of censorship. That's a flat out lie.

Look at all the misery and blame being expressed. Don't ever tell me it is censored. People are reveling in it for crying out loud. Lots of people are just as tired of that and have just as much right to speak up about that as those expressing their blame for Romo. So you chillax, dude.

Get a grip on yourself, Hostile. You're too emotional.

This is what dboy said.

it's like people are not allowed to participate on this forum after a loss unless it's in a "i'm still behind romo" thread.

Like is a simile, a figure of speech. A figure of speech is NOT to be taken literally. Otherwise, someone running as fast as a speeding bullet or a beautiful day being like heaven should be taken literally.

And I elaborated on my point, since you misunderstood it.

You're too emotional and wound up if you think I'm suggesting you censor.

Yeah, you need to chillax.

i cant believe people are comparing romo and brady in here. :lmao2:

if romo had 3 rings, do you think this thread would exist?

You say you hate seeing all this defeatist attitude but youre never going to change their stance so why waste your time trying to convince them into anything different? Just wasting your time if you ask me and alot of good convo ends up being pushed aside because you guys continue to go back and forth about whats way is supreme.
Good question. Hard to shame people into using their heads, but you did it. Thanks Latin.

Lost in the exact same fashion in the exact same stadium no less

Next year if A&M plays the day before the Cowboys, they need to put them in the visitors locker room. I think they left some residual bad mojo in the Cowboys locker room.

That was actually a good response. A little respect returned from me.

I'd say getting over 15 years would be a nice start. I don't mind hearing about this loss. This loss sucks. But isn't it possible to open misty, weepy eyes and see that this team has nothing to do with what happened in 1996? There isn't a single player on this team who was there for that loss to the Vikings that started the drought.

I mean, move on already. We're still hearing about the bobble, and Pittsburgh, and blah, blah, blah.

If it was only about this loss it would be one thing. But whining is entirely another and to me that means not able to get over the damned past.
Well the problem is that I think (And this is from my short time as being a fan, in comparison to some others) that it's probably harder to enjoy success as a younger fan, because think about it, you had the early 90's teams and then you had...

Well, you've had nothing, really. So a lot of younger fans look at their time as being pretty miserable. I mean, by the time you're old enough to really appreciate a Super Bowl win, your team isn't even coming close.

You old dogs got to experience a lot of great times, you can more easily understand the ups and downs when you look at our team over the years. Some of us have yet to experience a successful franchise at an age where it is easily appreciated.

I think that may be part of the problem, the age gap.

Go get Brett Favre Jerry!!!!!!

Get him ready for New England!!

Lets go!

Romo has solidified himself as the undisputed king of the ill timed turnover. Just when it appeared he may have finally turned the corner he's back to being the mistake prone QB he's always been. The Romo apologists will continue to live in their Romo fantasy world filled with Lombardi Trophies but there's no way in hell the Cowboys will ever win a championship with a Jekyll and Hyde QB who continues to lose games that are practically in the bag.

The Cowboys were in complete control today dominating both sides of the ball and Romo who finally started gaining respect from the NFL world suffers the worst melt-down of his career. I've never seen a QB who can be at the top of their game for 40 minutes and completely tank when a game is completely under control.

This is a disturbing trend we've seen with Romo this season of looking like a Hall of Famer one minute and a Hall of Shamer the next. When Romo starts turning the ball over they usually come in bunches and it leads to disaster. Maybe the Cowboys should consider using Kitna as a closer. lol

That works both ways. But of course it is never seen that way.

Not on this forum, unless it was something said that was against the Guidelines. Hey, if you can't express your feelings without gutter language or a disgusting display of personal insults then why are you a writer in the first place?

We don't allow racism, vulgarity, or stuff to get personal. That isn't censorship my friend, that is the price of a private forum.
it has nothing to do with that hostile.

for about 4 hours after the game today i was not allowed to make a thread. that is censorship.

How dare you, Hostile is a MAN, he wears his big boy pants, he does not care what you girly pissants think of him or his opinions, now go out and earn his respect...respect on 3, 123 RESPECT!

My heat rounds weren't directed at anyone. I made a post hours ago that this loss would be compared to the Patriots loss. I pointed it out when I saw Hostile make the connection. You could have made the post, I wouldn't have cared.

I just don't find a lot of comfort in comparing our meltdowns with another teams meltdown. If he wants to call that being miserable, then whatever.
The man called me out. I responded. Connection? It's a fact. Denying it is rather silly.

Heck yes! Favre AND Moss + bring back the HOTEL!!!!! CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!

(Don't bring back TO though, that man cried and got upset with losing.....ewwwwwwwww, clearly not a man!!!!!)

Ahh fighting and bickering at the Zone. When the world is going crazy you know there is one constant, lol.

Oh no, Hostile might not respect us if we think this team has some major problems...whatever will we do with ourselves, we are so unworthy. Seriously, get over yourself.
:laugh2: what this thread needs now is some is some analogous story about some crazy fan met at a gas station. Or better yet, some inside word on how Tony Romo has the complete confidence and respect of the lockerroom...
