***Rip on Romo Thread***

Like I said, deny the facts and look silly. I don't give two hoots in hell about your little prediction. Come at me with a smug response like that and I will be smug back. Like I said.

You say you hate seeing all this defeatist attitude but youre never going to change their stance so why waste your time trying to convince them into anything different? Just wasting your time if you ask me and alot of good convo ends up being pushed aside because you guys continue to go back and forth about whats way is supreme.

Lots of internet-tough-guying-it-up in this thread. Why is it when a game goes good or goes bad, Romo/Garrett fans and/or Romo/Garrett detractor's first instinct is to go after other posters on this board? We can't support/criticize these guys without people getting personal, it seems

Does Arizona have some weird state law requiring you to reply? Seems like if you really were tired of it you would just not reply, they got ignore buttons bud, if your just oh so tired.
You ask me questions hoping I won't reply?

That's genius. No wonder everyone respects your takes.

I agree. Say what you want about Hostile (and I do on occasions), but he is a FAIR man. I really do respect that. I really don't think I could take the heat rounds he takes sometimes, to be quite honest. Ok, now back to our regularly scheduled program.
My heat rounds weren't directed at anyone. I made a post hours ago that this loss would be compared to the Patriots loss. I pointed it out when I saw Hostile make the connection. You could have made the post, I wouldn't have cared.

I just don't find a lot of comfort in comparing our meltdowns with another teams meltdown. If he wants to call that being miserable, then whatever.

I think a better running game would do just that. I am sick of being pretty much an all pass team these past few years. Why can't you be balanced and win in this league?

With our defense, we should be able to protect 24 flippin pts w/o throwing the damn ball all over the place w/ Romo.

We need to run better.
You have to have a coach who is dedicated to the run.

This is so ridiculous, and it's pretty obvious you're taking your anger at the game and the team out on the rest of us. Who the hell would want to feel like this? I'm so disgusted I don't even know who or what I should be angry at, I'm just in a daze of complete and total misery. I don't even care about blaming Romo, or Garrett, or anyone else...I just want to stop feeling like this. In 20 years as a Cowboys fan I've felt like this only two or three times, and it sucks.

It's ok to let people see you question what happened and why, I promise.

The clinical term is: Displacement.

Seems like that is the case.

Who's blaming a poster for the loss? Can you point that out? I need a laugh.

Just the constant "Your defeatist attitude/sunshine pumping is part of the problem" nonsense gets old. People get so offended by the opinions of others, to the point one would think they actually effected the outcome of the games. It bothers me that I'm expected to feel like a bad fan for being upset about a loss and questioning what the hell happened.

Don't get me into name calling. I already have 1 warning.

It's called respect and neither side posts w/ any of it when posting his/her crying eulogy for the Dallas Cowboys.

Welcome to the InternetZ

Hey if a real option presents itself. Winning QBs don’t grow on trees as Parcells would say. Romo is who he is. I don’t think he is able to change. I don’t think Kitna or McGee is the answer. I am open to change for the better not for the worse. This feels pretty bad right now.

It could be worse, look at Kolb in Az or Vick in Philly.

Double whammy for you. Both your teams lost this weekend. I HATE those weekends.

Glad A&M lost but I still feel bad for you. :(

If you are not bothered by a loss you are not a fan, it has been said, let it be so.

I think it's fine to not like to lose, and for losses to hurt a bit, but for people to lose their mind, and become completely miserable people (and that's not saying you are cause I have no idea I didn't bother to read this whole silly thread) is just dumb.

I'm sorry but if your whole day, week, life, demeanor, and everything revolves around how a professional sports team does then there is just something flat out wrong with that.

But that's just my opinion. I'm sure there are plenty who would completely disagree with that and that's fine as well.

Lost in the exact same fashion in the exact same stadium no less

Hoping you don't reply? Are you kidding, my very being is begging for your respect and acceptance, no doubt I will be up nights for at least a day or two if you come away from our conversation thinking I am some girly man unworthy of your respect....LOVE ME HOSTILE, LOVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in no mood to defend Romo, Garrett, or even the Cowboys as a whole for that matter right now...But I will say that I think the response and the reaction has been overblown. Brady threw 4 ints last week and hardly a word was said. Yes, he's also won 3 SB's but that doesn't take away the fact that he lost a very winnable game for his team against Buffalo, just as Romo did today.
Ridiculous comparison. One guy has made a habit of making huge mistakes, the other went 36/4 last season and has 3 rings. They're not in the same universe.

I don't know, what would be defined as acting like men?

I mean, I don't consider myself girly or anything. I guess I don't own any harley davidson motorcycles. I haven't fought in a war or anything. I suppose I've cried once in my life.

Wait a second, we're no longer men because we're voicing our displeasure of a loss on a forum? What?
That was actually a good response. A little respect returned from me.

I'd say getting over 15 years would be a nice start. I don't mind hearing about this loss. This loss sucks. But isn't it possible to open misty, weepy eyes and see that this team has nothing to do with what happened in 1996? There isn't a single player on this team who was there for that loss to the Vikings that started the drought.

I mean, move on already. We're still hearing about the bobble, and Pittsburgh, and blah, blah, blah.

If it was only about this loss it would be one thing. But whining is entirely another and to me that means not able to get over the damned past.

You are correct...my point was that I doubt the NE forums last week were ablaze with calls to bench or trade Brady the way they are here. I understand that winning SB's gets you the benefit of the doubt, but the bottom line is that all great QB's have bad games (except maybe Aaron Rodgers j/k).

For some reason our fanbase seems schizophrenic. Romo was a hero these past two weeks and today he's a piece of trash that should no longer be starting. I understand the pain of such a bad loss, believe me, I feel like I got kicked in the jewels, but I still love the Cowboys and Romo as my QB...He's still the same guy that won two hard fought games with broken ribs and a punctured lung.

I think for the most part, it's simply that there are two camps:

Romo lovers and Romo haters

When Romo does well, the lovers dominate the news, when he has a bad game, the haters dominate.

Personally I'm a Romo liker that is sickened for him and by his seemingly unnecessary mistakes

Thanks T. If the Mods here were anything like our detractors say we are this place would be a lot more pleasant. But we continue to allow the drone as long as it is within the Guidelines. I get so tired of it.

Blame the Cowboys for that.

it's not a lie. i was censored today.
Not on this forum, unless it was something said that was against the Guidelines. Hey, if you can't express your feelings without gutter language or a disgusting display of personal insults then why are you writing in the first place?

We don't allow racism, vulgarity, or stuff to get personal. That isn't censorship my friend, that is the price of a private forum.
