***Rip on Romo Thread***

In the meantime, Aaron Rodgers has 6 td's and over 400 yards......now there is a real QB.

A good gracious I hope you are joking, he has NFL failure written all over him.

People were saying the same thing about Cam Newton before the season started (myself included). I think it's safe to say that the dude is capable of playing in the NFL. No one is casting his bust for Canton, but he's proven he belongs.

Rob Ryan's D gave up 17 4th qtr. points as well, and only one of those was off a turnover created short field. First half I told my wife I loved this defense when they were dominating. Unfortunately they collapsed JUST AS HARD as Romo did.

Garrett's now had the first 4th qtr 14 pt lead lost, and the worst lead in Cowboys history lost.

Don't blame this on the D. Romo gave them two TD's and another INT that lead to a TD. After those two pick 6 ints the momentum changed!!! Stop protecting Chokomo and lets trade him for a high draft pick.

I'm sorry but when were the Bronocs a serious threat to ANYONE this season?

How many real QBS are there in the league then? 3?

lol, not going to justify that.
you said he was going to be a COMPLETE UTTER FAILURE as if you have no doubt....give me your reasoning?

They were a threat to the Bengals. ;)

There are several reasons we lost.

First and foremost is Tony didn't protect the football.

Garrett should have run more in the second half although you can't just run the ball with this offense. It's still on Tony to protect the ball.

Ryan shares some responsibility. He turned off the heat in the second half and gave Stafford all day to throw the ball. Our DBs can't cover well enough to do that but to be completely fair neither can most other teams.

Losing Sensi hurt.

We still can't run the ball well enough. See above.

Romo won't wash this stink off for some time. Although he doesn't deserve all the blame he'll catch the very vast majority of it.

Just having fun with this thread.

Already over the loss....looking forward to dismantling the Patsy's in 2 weeks.

What successful QB's has his school put out?
That means very little.

How many successful QBs had UCLA put out prior to and after Aikman?

meh...we'll see by the end of this year...but honestly guy has looked fine but nothing outstanding, if he keeps playing like he has against the big dogs, i'll be impressed, but don't get too down on me if I am not impressed he beat SFA/Rice/ a very over rated TCU. Guy is good and all but he is not a QB you draft with the idea that he is a sure fire franchise QB, at least not yet, and not a guy you waste a 3rd or 4th round on when your team has as many holes as ours.

and threw an INT with a big lead. GB just had their backup throw an INT with a big lead. What the hell is wrong with these coaches?

For people wanting another QB early in next years draft, don't forget about Wisconsin's Russell Wilson....the dude is on fire!!

Agreed, ut. In fact, I haven't seen a single game the kid has played. Just pointing out that it's foolish to write a kid off in the NFL before he has a chance to prove himself.

The simple fact is he QB the Dallas Cowboys like hes playing Madden 2011. Thats when I place blame on Garrett though. Its his job to manage the game and team. I know the QB can also but in the end its gonna come down to the head coach. And as Romo goes so does the head coach. Again the D played about as good as you can, I mean they gave up 2 touch downs but hell with a 24 point lead ***???
