"The Cowboys are back on top of the mountain....well they should stay there for a while".

We will be back.

i feel like im walking on egg shells but...

i tried to make threads but kept getting a message in big red letters that i wasnt activated.

other people were making threads at the same time.

i dont want to get banned so i wont go any further, it's a dead issue to me.

edit: oh are you saying i need to donate to make threads after games?

I had the same problem, I don't think you (me) got banned, perhaps they didn't allow anyone to make any posts until everyone had a chance to cool down?

dboy214, no matter what I had said the drama would have started. You're relatively new around here though I think you had a previous account and got banned and came back without applying for reinstatement. It's why you bring some things up that happened before your account was created.

On top of that if you think there wasn't already drama in this thread then you are daft. I know for a fact posts have been deleted and infractions given, and one guy even got a vacation.

As a staff we understand a loss is going to mean people lose their minds. So does a close win for that matter.

I am a lightning rod because of my big fat mouth. I understand that. Been fine with it for many years. I also am one of the fairest persons you will ever meet. I take none of this personally. Pity the same is not extended to me. My opinions are so important that I get called out after every loss. Other forums have threads and emoticons dedicated to me. I am responsible for more phantom bans than any person alive. I tell a story about saving a dog one time and one cabal of ***** envy has turned it into me sharing hundreds and even thousands of stories about saving dogs.

The point is, nothing amazes me when I enter a thread. I got called out. I doubt you would remain silent if someone cared enough about your opinions to do the same. Nor would I expect you to.

Just my 2 cents too.
hos, i dont know what you are referring to in the first paragraph. this is my only account.

but it seems you revel in your position as a "lighting rod" so it would make sense for you too constantly be fighting with posters...but in my humble opinion, i dont think that is appropriate for a moderator of a board.

when i think of fair and resonable, i think of DallasEast.

To only blame Romo but not JG for this loss is ridiculous. The logic that JG is great because he put up 30 points yet blame Romo only for the loss is just plain dumb. Who was the QB who put up those 30 points for that offense?

Romo should be blamed but the bigger blame should go to JG because not only is JG Romo's OC but also the HC. JG has been Romo's main coach/mentor for past 4 years yet Romo is still making these boneheaded mistakes. That tells me that JG is a horrible teacher.

I am not a Moderator on the forums. I am a Cowboys fan with strong opinions, same as anyone else. I hate Moderating. I want people to act like adults. I want people to accept the fact that their opinions are not going to get 100% approval ratings. I never want to see people called idiots. I actually don't like seeing Cowboys fans called trolls, but some of them are. They come here solely for the chance to stir up crap.

Have you ever heard announcers say that if you don't talk about the Referees it was probably a well called game? Same thing here. This staff hates to be dragged into the topics. How we Moderate is not a topic. We do it behind closed doors via PMs. That is Moderation.

The most unfortunate thing about being a Moderator is that people won't allow you to disagree with them. That is oppression by the man. Trust me when I say this, if I had never accepted the role I play on the staff here I would still be controversial, but some people would actually get over it.

I long for that day more than anyone here will ever know. I continue to help because I care about this site. People here who hate my guts can count on me to do what is right by them. I'm never going to let anyone talk about your mama, wife, or children. I'm never going to allow you to be threatened. I'm never going to allow you to be attacked personally. Your ideas are fair game. Just like mine are. This entire staff are still Cowboys fans with opinions.

Oh, and DE is one of my favorite posters by far, and would be even if he wasn't on this staff. We're damned lucky to have him.

So more credit should go to Garrett for the SF win and the Commanders win too, right?

right there with you bro, makes me feel like an old fart who can't get over the "good ol days"

I know a lot of people may disagree with this, but I really think Garrett has the potential to have New England type success, I at least think he's smart enough, but only time will tell

Smdh....

Yard sale at Valley Ranch... Romo gear available at rock bottom pricing well ahead of the upcoming draft. A commemorative "worst collapse ever" toilet bowl is also available with Romo's signature inscribed on the seat.

:lmao2: Post of the thread.

So is the Favre to Dallas talk heating up?

Maybe we could get Favre to play the 1st half and have Kurt Warner play in the 2nd half.

SF yes but our offense sucked against the Deadskins so what credit are you talking about? If anything he should be blamed for the poor showing. The offense was horribly unprepared against the Deadskins.

The defense and ST won that game.

They were asking Romo to do too much passing in the second half. I know you don't want to go completely conservative and just run the ball 99% of the time and sit on a lead, but man they were playing like they were down by a couple scores in the 4th and Romo was forcing the ball in some tight windows when it was'nt needed.

This thread would not be complete without this...

Stay thirsty my friends.

My thread got deleted so here is my point again: Hire Tony Sparano as Asst HC/OC if the Dolphins fire him. We went 13-3 with him calling the plays. Garrett is a great head coach. We will be better in situational play calling with Sparano. He is a plug-and-play, he knows the system. Garrett can have the final authority on the play run. It will help this team a lot. We are LOADED with talent. This could be the missing link. I think it is. When Sparano left this team went into a tailspin.

p.s.
At least we are not 1-3 like the Eagles. And the Commanders will not be winning the East.

[lookit i put this loss on garrett as much as romo..they are the same person though, both too aggressive,,when you are up 27 to 3 with your d shutting them down you run the ball and only throw passes that you know will be received, you eat the clock, and let your D win it for you..textbook coaching...romo and garrett, both have some problems in their game...expect more of the same going forward...and 9-07 or 8-8...maybe make the playoffs who knows but if they dont change we will NEVER WIN...NEVER

It looks like that's just a default setting unless you pay money to the site.

I agree with this or some variation. Garret is good I think but he needs some short term help, IMO for a few years. Sparano would be a good fit like you said, some one else mentioned Steve Maracui (sp is terrible), thats an interesting idea I guess he would want to put in a west coast style, seems like Garret would be comfortable with that, and as of late we seem to be getting the personal for that possibly. Either way, I think this year, next years draft/ FA and tweaking the roster are critical times for this team. Hopefully things get figured out, otherwise we miss our window.

What does this have to do with today's game?

I'm going to guess nothing and you just want to act like a jerk.
