Ripping the front office for no trades is hilarious

We were all DEAD WRONG about Cooper Rush. He’s been a fantastic backup.

We were all DEAD WRONG about Brett Maher. He’s been a fantastic kicker.

We were all DEAD WRONG about Noah Brown. He’s been rock solid filling in for Gallup/Washington.

We were all DEAD WRONG about Tyler Smith playing LT as a rookie. Remember how badly we wanted a vet replacement for Tyron Smith before Week 1? We got Jason Peters but he’s been nothing more than OG depth so far. Tyler has held his own.

We were all DEAD WRONG about Terence Steele at RT. This one maybe goes back a year.

The moral of the story: we’re 6-2 despite Dak missing 5 games and other adverse circumstances. That’s a HUGE credit to the front office and coaching staff......

So maybe they’re not “SO STUPID” for not acquiring more help today?

Maybe, just maybe, they know better than us fans do? And deserve some benefit of the doubt?

Crazy, I know.

Of course they know better than the fans do… but fans are going to do what fan bases do. And it is all fan bases too. I’ve gone to other boards and fans are complaining and making suggestions that no team would do.

It is just that there are so many Cowboys fans that we have more of those fans than other teams.

Dallas was right about all of those things because they have waaaay more information about them that we fans do.

Frankly assuming the trade talk was about Cooks as been reported. I'm glad it didn't happen. I would rather see what Washington added will do and if that doesn't work then look into OBJ's health.
I did not want Cooks at anywhere near the draft compensation or salary cap room that it would have taken. I 100% agree.

The team agreed as well, which is why they said no to the deal.

Has his knee been repaired? Or is he the WR that said he would get surgery only after someone signed him

I think it’s more of Jerry getting the fan base all hyped up for a major trade. He should just let the football people speak and run the show. He does too much damage every time he opens his mouth.
In the end they probably would have over paid for a player like Cooks who is a nice add but he doesn’t get you that far over the hump. If they wanted a 2nd no way do you do that.
There wasn’t a player available that would have had a major impact. Again, Jerry just shut up.

Jerry also said, “No deal is more likely than us making a deal,” or something to that effect.

But the fanbase hears what they want to hear.

they may know better than the fans do, but the last 25 years have proven that they don’t know better than the other general managers.

I don’t pretend to know better but let’s understand what just occurred. Almost every team that was either superior or as good as the Cowboys upgraded their rosters to win THIS year. The Cowboys are literally the only team that didn’t.

If we wer the Bills or Chiefs many of us could understand standing pat. Our defense is one of the worst against the run and our WR corp is man for man the weakest of the top 8 playoff bound teams and we lost a corner for the year

Hankerson is a nice addition but it’s not nearly enough to offset something like the Niners picking up McCafree. If the other teams didn’t improve their rosters I could see the Cowboys remain with their current roster, although they would still be inferior to the Bills, Chiefs and Eagles

We were playing at home in a playoff game last year and we thought Dak could win us the game . We were all dead wrong , so what's your point?

You need to start with this year and see what happens this year and next. They are good.

6-2 means little.

Remember 6-1 last year?

Fans may rush to judgment but so do Jerrah apologists.

Fact: 25+ years no NFC champ game
So what was your opinion on Cooper Rush as our primary backup before Week 1?

What was your opinion on rolling with Tyler Smith at LT before Week 1?

What was your opinion on Brett Maher as our kicker before Week 1?

Exactly... you were 0-3 on those guys just like the rest of us, but keep pretending you still know better than the FO.

..of course, that's why they get paid the big bucks. ;)...

I actually feel we're ok, with our crew. Get healthy, get everyone back.

The bye came huge for Dallas.
