Yes but he was ascending had his best year now there's insurance if lamb gets hurt you have pickins and then everybody moves back up vice versa also if Pickens happens to get hurt I believe Tolbert can still be valuable... It's much needed depth
he was tied for 21st lolPp
I mean he had the 8th most touchdowns in the NFL last year....Lamb had 6....
Not sure how that's "overrating" him lol. Especially when most wanted him gone or replaced lol.
The Dallas Cowboys are riding high thanks to the infectious energy of Brian Schottenheimer, and one of the team's rising stars thinks a Super Bowl is not out of reach.
The Dallas Cowboys made a major improvement to the wide receiving corps following the NFL Draft by acquiring star wide receiver George Pickens. Unfortunately for last year's WR2 in Dallas, Jalen Tolbert, that means a decrease in production could be on the way.
Despite the knowledge that he could see less involvement in the offense, Tolbert believes the best for the Cowboys is coming during the Brian Schottenheimer era.
Tolbert believes the locker room culture and energy could get the team over the hump.

Tolbert has WR3 locked up.The SB drought certainly isn’t ending in 2025. lol Just making the playoffs will be a challenge with Philly and Washington ahead of us. Tolbert a rising star? If that was true we wouldn’t have traded for Mingo and Pickens. We drafted Tolbert hoping he could be our WR2 and now he’s in a battle for WR3.
The room has become immediately crowded.Well, he did rise last year after a terrible rookie season and then just 22 catches his second year. I think it's fair to say he is ascending. Don't know if he'll be able to top last year's numbers (49-610-7), though, with Pickens being brought in. Plus, I think he's in a timeshare at No. 3 with Turpin and possibly Mingo.
He has nothing locked up. What he did last season makes no difference. Had he played great we wouldn’t have traded for Mingo or Pickens. He was given an opportunity to win WR2. He played okay but there were some inconsistencies. He’s going to be competing with Mingo and the rest of the receivers in camp. No team hands out jobs in June.Tolbert has WR3 locked up.
He had a great season last year with a backup QB.
Who was tied for 21st?he was tied for 21st lol
Yeah, I think he deserves more credit then we give, but he surely doesn't have anything locked up, especially in his last year and with Mingo behind him.He has nothing locked up. What he did last season makes no difference. Had he played great we wouldn’t have traded for Mingo or Pickens. He was given an opportunity to win WR2. He played okay but there were some inconsistencies. He’s going to be competing with Mingo and the rest of the receivers in camp. No team hands out jobs in June.
You will see.He has nothing locked up.
If he ends up our third receiver, it’s because he won the job in camp. Mingo will be given every opportunity along with the rest of the receivers. There will be a competition. You will see.
He proved himself last season. Someone has to take it from him.If he ends up our third receiver, it’s because he won competition in camp.
What he proved was he wasn’t a WR2. After trading a 4th for Mingo he will be given every opportunity. Nothing I saw from Mingo last season impresses me, but WR3 hasn’t already been decided. He proved himself last season. Someone has to take it from him.
Stand your ground, coogs. Stand your ground. Thanks Marcus he just wants me to be a mod and I keep holding out lol
It's his job until someone takes it from him. What he proved was he wasn’t a WR2. After trading a 4th for Mingo he will be given every opportunity. Nothing I saw from Mingo last season impresses me, but WR3 hasn’t already been decided.
