While he made a few mistakes I can't help but be impressed with how far he's come in such a short time. We have the makings of a stud on the OL at RT and to think he's only been playing RT for a few short weeks and a few of those he was hurt. I can't wait until he really gets his legs under him.

Yes, i was happy with his play. switching from left to right, playing in his first nfl game on the road, having played through some pain/injury in preseason.....i think he did well and looking for him to be a force on the right side for us.

All things considered, I thought he did well in pass protection and he also looks like he may be the first tackle we have had in a log time that we may be able to use to move out on those screens and sweeps and pick up guys to block in space.
Just think, he will only get better and how good will he be next year with a year of a professional strength and conditioning program in the offseason under his belt?

I think the whole team was a bit nervous on that series but he and the rest of the settled down.

All the rooks played well and within themselves yesterday.

It was nice to see Larry Allen destroying some defenders for Julius and Julius following his lead like the good ol' days.

Witten and Adams also had false start penalties on that one drive. i think somewhere Rob mentioned it being so loud they couldnt hear the cadence.

Rob is the perfect example of the type of the young men I like seeing us draft.

Keeps his mouth shut, does what he is told, very teachable, plays hurt, tough, and a quick learner. I'll take a kid like Rob on my team anytime and twice on Sunday.

Rob is gunna be ok. Heck Even LA gets a false start every once in a while. I am also impressed with his work ethic, attitude and passion for the game. I am glad the boys took Rob and he made the most of his opportuity. Hes your starting right tackle folks. Hats off to Rob.

They did a good job of giving him a lot of help without hamstringing the offense. That's what's so nice about having Dan Campbell for one thing. I can understand a false start in the season opener, on the road...that happens. But I can't recall seeing any other mental mistakes he made, which is a lot to say about a rookie lineman.

Must have been frustrating not to be able to watch.You can log on here on game days and get instant feed on the games.We are all pulling for Rob and know he has what it takes.I am sure he is a Parcells guy and that is very high honor.We appreciate family members of players here 'cause we are all family in here.Remember though every family has a crazy uncle!
