Rob Petitti

RCFLIP, Pittdawg said he would have to watch his spelling a little more since you are on the board. When we all get excited we don't always watch those things. Cut him some slack will you? Welcome aboard.

He's my "kid" brother and is used to my "teacher" ways! He certainly knows how to spell -- it is typing that causes him difficulty! Besides, he had to feed this kid (Rob), who am I to criticize???

LOL. That's a lot of feeding.

Glad to have you on board and proud that your nephew is part of the Dallas Cowboys. He's the best right tackle we've had since Erik Williams. He should anchor our line for the next decade I hope. :)

And I thought my 3 and 5 year old boys were expensive :) .

I bet that food bill cost them a 2nd mortgage...he's a big boy...tell Rob to pay the 2nd mort off for them...lol

Welcome to the board....we are thrilled with Rob and have been rooting for him since the begining of training camp. He certainly has stepped up...rookie (Which Parcless does not like to start on oline), playing hurt, learning extensive play book...earning his star. He may turn out to be one of the best deals we get in years....

Continued good luck!!!

A tidbit from ESPN on Rob:

Cowboys rookie OT Rob Petitti, a college left tackle who played that position early in training camp, told PFW he feels very comfortable as the team's starting right tackle and would like to stay there. "I'd love to spend my entire career [on the right side]. I feel like I can use my strong
arm to my advantage there," he said.

Thanks for the welcome! I will try to follow the play by play here in the future but I spent the day with my mother, Rob's grandmother, who is nearly 90! She is the MOST thrilled of all! She's about 5' 1" tall and Rob towers over her. She does, however, STILL rule the roost! We have Direct TV but she wants to buy the NFL package. My brother, Pittdawg, will have to take care of that for her since I don't know how to arrange that.

Hey, get Rob to spring you for a satellite system, now that he's big money. ;) :D
