Rob Ryan Fired per twitter ESPNDallas **merged**

Jerry Jones you have got to be the biggest idiot of all times! Our defense is/was not the problem... with all the injuries that was on the defense Rob Ryan has done an exceptional job. Who you should have fired is Jason Garrett the offense can not score so you fire the defensive coordinator! WHAT AN IDIOT!!! C'mon Man:bang2: You never cease to amaze me Jerry Jones:bang2:

This. I can't believe th amount of people upset by this move. All the people complaining about lack of getting pressure on the qb, players confused on defense, too many men on the field and lack of turnovers and now everyone is sad Ryan is gone? I'm very happy with it.

That was the same issues with Wade Phillips and Bill Parcells too. Well I wonder if this divides the team. I have a feeling that the defensive players liked Rob. And now will they resent Garrett?

great !!!! I never understood his defensive calls, no blitzing, no adjustments, always getting caught with too many men on the field or having to use a timeout, his players were always confused (well I cannot blame all of that on him, with players like Sensabaugh, and McCray,) Spencer and Ware in pass coverage, I just believe he and his brother were living off of their father's rep.

You can't make chicken cordon bleu without chicken.

Scapegoats. Don't really care who on this forum gets mad. But its the truth. Yeah hes a cancer, hes a bum, hes broke, hes a dead beat dad. But one thing about Terrell Owens is that he always speaks the truth. And he said it about this team in 2008. This team looks for scapegoats like no other.

I'm thoroughly pissed at the Rob Ryan firing.

why, Ryan was crap, his defenses in Oakland and cleveland were never good, I never understood why he was hired.

I'll guess Jerry got sold a bill of goods by RR last April in the draft. Probably was the driving force behind the get Claiborne at all costs trade. Likely told Jerry it will solve alot of their problems. Not so much. Particularly when that number two could have been Wagner or Hayward, and the one Brockers.

Embarrassing that fans can tell who is not performing yet they keep their job. Kinda sounds like corporate America.
bingo. corporate america, country club....same thing.

I think this was all jerry. I remember a couple games ago when jerry was congratulating all the players after the game, Rob walked by and neither guy even acknowledged each other. I told my son, something's not right between Jerry and Rob. Wow
The sig doesn't lie.

Okay, now that the shock has worn off, let's consider some things.
First of all, for all those screaming that it's a travesty that the DC got fired while the offense was bad, let's wait and see. Who says Jason isn't giving up the offensive coordinator job? Just because Ryan was the first big change, doesn't mean he's the last.
Second, I don't think it's a knee-jerk reaction. We don't know what has been going on behind the scenes for the past two years. There may be any number of reasons to fire Rob that are not apparent to those of us who are not at Valley Ranch. There may have been insubordination or other issues. There may have been things he was asked to do by the head coach that he refused to do. Maybe it was the way he couldn't get the right number of guys on the field. Who knows? But let's be real, injury excuses or not, the defense has not lived up to expectations the past couple of seasons.
Third, this might very well be the result of a desire to switch schemes, or they may actually have a dc lined up that Garrett really wants to work with.
I plan to give this move the benefit of the doubt until some other details come forth.

Jerry the idiot strikes again. Fire the guy who was actually a bright spot. His defense was ravaged with injury. Rob did what he could with the trash he had. Jerry is the worst owner in sports. Here's to more mediocrity.

Yes. Terrell Owens. Voice of the truth.

So Tony Romo and Jason Witten really did have super secret meetings to limit him in the offense?
Haha :D , that was funny

Nice job, I officially hate Garrett. I knew he would find a way to throw the blame on another guy.

What a snake *** weasel

Supposedly this was a Jerry move.

Jerry isn't happy with the guys JASON hired so he is going to make changes for him.

College was a long time ago and he's never played true DE in his career. He's already not great against the run, putting his hand in the dirt would make it worse. Plus our DL is a weakness for us, so why would we put more of them on the field and take an LB, which is one of our strengths, off the field

If guys like Mathis and Free can play DE, Ware can.

I'm not. I personally thought he was a big blow-hard. He did way too much talking about how great he was, the coaches were, and how great his D was going to be and not enough results to suit med. His D did better this year before the injuries, but we still don't get any t/o's. I wonder if Romeo crennel is headed our way???...

Yet Jason isn't responsible for any of the offense short comings?

False Start.

False Start.

False Start.

False Start.

Illegal Formation.

Perhaps throw in some holding?

False Start leader since 2009, if not beyond.

And Jason is still safe? What a joke this is. Fire someone who was bad on defense when he had over half of bench players playing and keeping someone who has been here for 6 years and his offense went from bad to worse.

Way to go.
