Rob Zombie Set to Direct ‘The Munsters’ Movie

Rob Zombie, the heavy-metal musician turned director, has confirmed that he will write and direct a feature film based on “The Munsters,” the ’60s sitcom about a family of friendly monsters.

Yeah, I had high hopes for that movie and it completely underwhelmed me.

I wonder how close that will be to the TV version or House of 1000 Corpses? He should do The Munsters Rejects.

He is most definitely a different cat. He doesn't allow anyone to talk directly to his wife when he is shooting on the set using her in one of his films.

Well at least Zombie has ventured into other areas aside from music and done ok. Manson however was/is a huge hack. I would love to knock his teeth out. Alice Cooper once said "what good is an image if all your songs stink". I believe he was referring to "Marilyn"

Yeah, they sucked, but I always thought Halloween was one of the weakest horror franchises. I really liked House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects, but don't have high hopes for this one, either.

It was OK, but definitely sucked that he had to re-write the whole thing after Sid Haig got sick. It was really sad seeing how sick he was in the limited amount of time he was in the film.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Zombie waited way too long in between Devils Rejects and 3 from Hell.
