Too bad to hear. His father tried jumping the canyon at Twin Falls, Idaho back in 1974 (the original ramp still exists). He failed, but his son wanted to finish it for dad. Robbie was campaigning to come back and complete it, and he hyped up the city for a return, but he never did get around to it. I do believe somebody else finally did it several years ago, but I always had hoped Robbie could have done it for his dad.

That's a bummer. I still think of him as a kid, the son of Evel Knievel, but he was older than me. This sucks. RIP, Robbie Knievel.
