For all of you Kellen Moore haters, it should depress you that the team lackey is now trying to offer a sales pitch on Kellen.
Yeah this one stings.

Am I wrong here, or has the situation gotten to where the guy fired as OC two years ago, and lost another job since, being asked to return for a promotion to HC?

That and a draft ought to get things rolling.

This is headed directly into the ground and both idiots fully deserve it.

Tiki Barber said Sean Payton is simply one of the best coaches to ever step on the field that he’s been around.

Barber tells a story when Sean Payton was an assistant coach with NYG - that he walked into the locker room and told everybody were going to absolutely smoke the Minnesota Vikings, who were the league leaders at the time and had HFA for the playoffs. And he instilled so much confidence in the group that they went out there and did as he said.

Kellen Moore is no Sean Payton.

Kellen Moore is built like a child and has somehow someway failed his way upwards … sometimes that happens in sports in life fired by the chargers let go by the Cowboys, etc. now he’s the head coach

I mean this is a disgraceful hire

Here is the funny this about the money breakdown....What side of the ball going forward needs the most help?

Media can twist this all they want...it's Prescott's numbers that schew everything. Offense still needs a #1 RB, #2 WR....and a left tackle. But if I was GM...I start with QB.
Yes. Four and half times the money invested and the offense is just as needy as the defense.

That is quality GMing.

You have to allow all parties to finish the play offs, etc, before concluding your search. I'm like 5% excited about the new coach, if Jerry would just allow football people to do football things and stay out of it but it's not in his nature to.

You know it as well as I do...#4 is a coach killer. If I am running this ....I am not letting #4 sink my ship. Guy already has a laundry list of people he's thrown under the bus for his shortcomings. It's time to cut the ugly cord....admit mistakes...and move on.

But if your boy takes this job then that means he disagrees with you on our QB.

He, of all people, should know what he is.

This whole Kellen was fired in Los Angeles.

The Chargers fired the Head Coach. Of course Harbaugh isn't going to keep the OC around.

I think it's disingenuous to say he was fired.
Especially since Staley was running the offense...He was a horrible play caller...trying to save his own ***. Kellen was only offensive coordinator by name because that's the only way the Chargers could get ahold of him...by promotion.

Belt is such a toolbag.

I've always thought Kellen would be the hire. But you have to remember Belt is Dak's #1 fanboy and he knows Dak loves Kellen, so he's rooting for this to happen. Someone else might be a much better head coach, but they wouldn't be Dak's BFF, therefore to Bobby they'd be a worse choice.

Exactly. KM is bleh, but the dude lost Herbert, Ekeler, Mike Williams and Keenan for the majority of the season. Had a horrible OL too and a bottom 5 run D.

I never considered the Sean Payton angle. I can see the moron thinking this. And I can see us all saying in two years "Kellen, you are no Sean Payton".

The guaranteed money discrepancy is eye opening but should level out some once Micah and Mazi get their huge extensions.
Thanks on the posting hard work. The Jones family always seems to be looking at ghosts of players past and how they got away or can help. We are stuck. I think Kellen has great OC potential. Not sold on HC

One Kellen Moore is nothing like Sean Payton and 2 we don’t have a Drew Brees.

Look at the Eagles Passing offense. It’s ranked near the bottom in the NFL. If it wasn’t for Barkley and that great oline I a sure Kellen Moore would have been fired after one season as OC with the Eagles. He was fired as the OC for the chargers also. Right now Kellen Moore is at best is a mediocre OC. Definitely not HC material.
I said the same thing their passing game is at the bottom!
