Oh yeah.

Round 1 - offensive lineman (probably a tackle)

Round 2 - safety

Round 3 - offensive lineman (probably a guard or guard/center)

I could definitely live with that.

And we'll probably pick up a couple of guys in FA as well. Hopefully a FG kicker. Maybe another DL or LB as well.

You got it backwards. He's not tall for an NFL tackle, but he has long arms.

Where we are picking in round 1 I'm not sure the more likely value wouldn't be a the interior line as opposed to the tackle. I still think we have enough places we could upgrade to not take a shot at someone who is the best on the board, outside of TE.

I think we're pretty well set at TE, RB, and QB.

I think we could land an OG/RT type at 27 though, or a quality LB or Secondary player.

All players equal (though they never are), I'd take the OL under that scenario as things stand today.

thought he had short arms. Well if he has long arms then being a little shorter is no big deal. Actually I would argue that shorter allows you to move better and since most of the DE's and OLB's are shorter then most OTs it would not make keeping low such a problem.

I agree, it sounds like an ideal combination, really.

I'm pretty excited to see him play. Just hope that pec heals well.

Jordan Gross is only 6'4'' and he's a pretty darned good tackle. I don't see why Brewster couldn't play RT.

Here is my two cents if he is healthy let him compete for a starting job be it RT, lt or lg or where ever the coaches think he will be best. If he is good enough then start him put the oline on notice

Regardless, if there isn't at least one new starter on the oline and preferably two, then it's doubtful that next season is going to be any more successful than this one.

I agree but I think coaching needs to be overhauled that is not happening so Oline is the only other option

I think I would let Brewster challenge Kosier at RG for the 2010 season.I think Gurode and Davis are firmly seated in their positions.I think Free will challenge Columbo on the right side.On the left side I think we are going to see another year of Flozell.I don't think Free will ever be strong enough to play LT and I think they will draft a LT to groom in the upcoming draft.

That's a distinct possibility.

I don't know enough about this kid to know what he can do. Hopefully he can give us help somewhere on that O-Line though. We're in need of it for sure.

Michael Oher, who plays RT for the Ravens, is the same height with an arm length of 33 1/2 inches. Robert Brewster's arm length is 34 inches.

This guy was a raw project before he missed his entire rookie year. He didn't even participate in training camp. Being on IR means he wasn't allowed to practice with the team during the year. To count on him for anything next year would be foolish.

Can Robert Brewster play left tackle for the Dallas Cowboys ?
Except for center, I think that is the last place he will play. JMO

This is what I would like to see with the entire oline is competition. Someone on this board said the oline needs to be overhauled. I disagree with that. There needs to be competition for starting spots on the oline because these guys are too comfortable and know they already have the job going into the season. I want to see these guys earn their starting spots and they haven't had to so far. Hopefully that changes next season.

His best shot to play is LG at Kosier's spot.

We will know if he has a chance if shows up at camp in good shape. He will have had lots of time to rehab from his injury, get in shape, learn the playbook and his assignments. He should have gotten to learn alot from filmwork.

On that basis, he should be much more ready than a typical 3rd round draftee.

I like him at RT

part of Colombo's problem is that he's too tall and stiff

Brewster has a nice center of gravity and great feet
