1. Niners
2. Chiefs
3. Cowboys
4. Lions
5. Dolphins

Top 3 is Top 3 tho.

I'd hold off on the Rams yet. They beat a team with a bad defense - one that's been holding them back for about 3 years now. Eagles won yet again with their shoddy defense, and a Jefferson dumb touchback rule play. They're not in the Top 5.

As much as I despise the Eagles, they always seem to have an extreme amount of luck. It’s always some dumb rule or shady event that bounces in their favor. Luck triumphs all it seems. I’d have to put them in the top 5 just because they always seem to have some sort of lucky “trick” up their sleeve.

I’d say

1. 49ers

2. Eagles

3. Cowboys

4. Dolphins

5. Lions

Honorable mention to the Jets and Rams though. Both of them look great and like very strong potential contenders. Maybe the Packers too. Chiefs look underwhelming but they’ll probably find a way.

Upon thinking of it, people are sleeping on the Browns. It might just be that Cincy laid one of those weird stinkers, but when you look at their roster.... they have talent littered all over their defense. Garrett, Smith, Tomlinson, Delpit, Ward, Emerson..... it's a good a cast as you'll get. And them being a running oriented team is ideal. Running oriented teams usually do better in the playoffs.

In the past, their QB play has been atrocious. Mayfield is the anti-clutch - can't make the last play or the last drive to save his life. And their offense simply blanks for the majority of the game and needs the last score to break the tie, and Mayfield comes up short. Now with Watson - who's better than Mayfield at least, they have a legitimate shot at taking this division. I think they're more like an 11-6 kinda team.... but their division is probably why. It's a totally up for grabs division with 4 teams likely to beat up on each other all year. They're not like Dallas' or KC's division..... we have 4 relative freebies as long as we show up and do what we've been doing I foresee 3 more easy wins.

I'm not sleeping them at all.Their defense will be one of the top 5 at the end of the year or maybe just outside of that. The offense has a ton of talent just waiting to explode...Watson, Chubb, Cooper, Njoku, Moore. I can definitely see them taking over that division...Steelers, Pickett is overhyped and their defense is porous. Bengals have great weapons and QB1A in the league as far as I'm concerned, but they have no offensive line, still. Baltimore has Jackson and a solid defense, but he is the offense and he missed 5 games last year and 4 in 2021.

The thing about the Browns is they stunk too just the Bengals stunk worse. Browns offense and Watson did not look good. But it’s only week one so it’s hard to tell….

Baltimore offense looks better than the Browns it’s gonna depend on what happens at running back. They stacked up at receiver. I don’t expect much from Beckham but Zay Flowers is a beast.

Until we prove otherwise, I won't put the Cowboys 1st. But I'm hoping that's where we'll end up. Don't count the Eagles out yet. Until a team can stop their run game without selling out to stop the run, they're going to keep winning games.

Doesn't look like that scrum formation is getting stopped anytime soon either. Hope DQ has some ideas.

The Chiefs lost at home. The Cowboys won by 40 on the road.
