Robert Griffin III, Week One: Top 5 NFL Teams Right Now

Doesn't look like that scrum formation is getting stopped anytime soon either. Hope DQ has some ideas.
Forget ideas. You can let the Eagles keep getting into 3rd a 1. You have to stop the run without selling out.

Give it back to the fumbling team at the spot of the fumble, just like they do anywhere else on the field.
They award it where it goes out of bounds or where it’s recovered.

If you fumble and it goes through the end zone and out of the end zone you're trying to score in then I think it’s good to reward the D and punish the O.

Are you guys who rank the Chiefs 2nd, serious? The whole idea of this thread is top teams as of today, not who won the Super Bowl last year

1. Niners
2. Chiefs
3. Cowboys
4. Lions
5. Dolphins

Top 3 is Top 3 tho.

I'd hold off on the Rams yet. They beat a team with a bad defense - one that's been holding them back for about 3 years now. Eagles won yet again with their shoddy defense, and a Jefferson dumb touchback rule play. They're not in the Top 5.
Chiefs will be 0-2 this week.

1. Niners
2. Eagles
3. Rams
4. Dallas
5. Dolphins

That helps for sure, but those short yardage and goalline circumstances are still going to arise at least once in a game (usually). Gotta have a realistic plan to stop it when it does. Personally I think we have the beef in the middle with Hank and Mazi to at least have a shot at it.

Is what it is. Based on week 1 nobody was more dominant. Suck it haters.

They are not better than the 49ers or Eagles in my book until they beat them on the field in a meaningful game.

It's crazy how many of the top teams are on the Cowboys schedule this year, McCarthy and DQ will have their hands full trying to get the team up for every game week after week. Luckily the Eagles basically play the same teams but unluckily this means getting that top seed will be very difficult and some crappier team from another division might beat you out of a wildcard spot with a better record. On a bright note, there will be many regular season games of epic magnitude.

As much as I despise the Eagles, they always seem to have an extreme amount of luck. It’s always some dumb rule or shady event that bounces in their favor. Luck triumphs all it seems. I’d have to put them in the top 5 just because they always seem to have some sort of lucky “trick” up their sleeve.

I’d say

1. 49ers

2. Eagles

3. Cowboys

4. Dolphins

5. Lions

Honorable mention to the Jets and Rams though. Both of them look great and like very strong potential contenders. Maybe the Packers too. Chiefs look underwhelming but they’ll probably find a way.
Eagles do NOT look like the same team bro

My Top 5:
  1. Who really cares?
  2. These lists are pointless anyways
  3. It will all be settled on the field
  4. No matter how much love/hate any team gets
  5. And that is the way it is and should be
Having said that, the Cowboys just had the biggest shutout victory in their storied history and should obviously in the conversation as one of the best teams Week 1.

JMHO

Lol. Not surprised. This guy never bothered to watch film in the past. Why start now?

Coming from RGknee it’s quite an honor…..he’s changing the culture at ESPN
