Top 3 is Top 3 tho.

I'd hold off on the Rams yet. They beat a team with a bad defense - one that's been holding them back for about 3 years now. Eagles won yet again with their shoddy defense, and a Jefferson dumb touchback rule play. They're not in the Top 5.

Eagles lost a huge chunk of the team that got them to the Super Bowl. Time will tell if they can overcome those losses or if they've slipped below Dallas and San Francisco. I think it's the latter but it's early.

How would you change the rule?

I don't know why some want to change the rule. It is the logical conclusion of the play. Don't fumble through the endzone. Simple as that. Plus, this rarely happens so there is no need to change the rules just because a player was embarrassed.

Give it back to the fumbling team at the spot of the fumble, just like they do anywhere else on the field.

The end zone isn't involved in those other plays.
