Ya I agree. it's like Clowney. Of course, Clowney is a more extreme example but rare talent
with no desire? It was so obvious as you watched and read Clowney before the draft [doesn't care].
I dont think its their fault its just their character. Some have the drive and some don't,it's just who they are.
I knew Clowney would be a bust when he signed with South Carolina over Alabama. He didn't want to undergo Saban's grueling practices and camps, and even Steve Spurrier admitted Clowney basically "shut it down".
Nkemdiche is immensely talented, but he is extremely lazy.
I predicted before the combine he and Derrick Henry would drop out of the first, and I'm holding to my prediction.
I wouldn't touch Nkemdiche until the fourth round, and that's only if we get a compensatory draft pick. Otherwise, I wouldn't touch him until the fifth.
We simply can't keep wasting our high draft picks on guys we can't count on. The best ability is
availability, and Hardy, Gregory and Ro have shown us that we simply can't count on guys who can't play for reasons of their own choosing. The difference with Hardy and Ro is that they came "cheap". No more Randy Gregorys with our second or third round picks, please.
