If you are one of the guys advocating picking this kid, please list 3 'troubled' players who've worked out for us in the last decade.
Thank you

With the Gregory pick looking like a complete waste and the Hardy pick-up completely bombing, I personally hope they stay away. Dez was really the only reclamation project I can think of that worked out in recent memory.

Evaluators from four NFL teams indicate Ole Miss DT Robert Nkemdiche is in danger of a "significant draft-day slide."
As a whole, evaluators were concerned that the former No. 1 overall recruit's talent doesn't "consistently show up on tape" (he posted just 6.5 sacks across his college career despite dominant talent) and "all shared a common concern" about his integrity. For his part, the prospect admitted to being occasionally was "lazy" on plays. Nkemdiche ran a 4.87 forty-yard dash at the NFL Combine and added a 35-inch vertical, a 9-foot-8 broad jump and 28 reps on the bench. "That's a guy that I could see having a little bit of a plummet," one evaluator said. "He's not in a weak class [at defensive tackle], and there is a lot of [off-field] stuff there to get through. … He may not end up being a first-round pick." Feb 29 - 10:28 PM

I think this is total BS from scouts who's team is drafting low and is putting this out so he does slide right to them. Having said that, if he is there at 34 grab him.

Ya I agree. it's like Clowney. Of course, Clowney is a more extreme example but rare talent
with no desire? It was so obvious as you watched and read Clowney before the draft [doesn't care].

I dont think its their fault its just their character. Some have the drive and some don't,it's just who they are.

I knew Clowney would be a bust when he signed with South Carolina over Alabama. He didn't want to undergo Saban's grueling practices and camps, and even Steve Spurrier admitted Clowney basically "shut it down".

Nkemdiche is immensely talented, but he is extremely lazy.

I predicted before the combine he and Derrick Henry would drop out of the first, and I'm holding to my prediction.

I wouldn't touch Nkemdiche until the fourth round, and that's only if we get a compensatory draft pick. Otherwise, I wouldn't touch him until the fifth.

We simply can't keep wasting our high draft picks on guys we can't count on. The best ability is availability, and Hardy, Gregory and Ro have shown us that we simply can't count on guys who can't play for reasons of their own choosing. The difference with Hardy and Ro is that they came "cheap". No more Randy Gregorys with our second or third round picks, please.

This guy is a beast. Routinely blew OL off the line this past season.

Not so much in 2014 -- he wasn't as strong then and didn't have great technique. He improved a ton from 2014-2015.

The character stuff doesn't scare me at all -- he's 21 and was partying with a buddy and got a little too drunk. He's got no other marks on his record aside from the balcony incident and he's been 100% forthright and honest about it any time he's been asked.

Scares me some but if he falls he gets less scarey with each round
Now this could be hype as said by some team hoping he falls to them but if he did fall the risk gets lots less

Can't stand this kid. But I love his talent. Late 2nd or a third, would take the chance. But have to stay on top of him and hold him accountable.

Highly doubt Nkemdiche would see the 2nd round of the NFL draft this year. I am fully aware of the hotel incident that happened a couple of months back but it still doesn't discredit the fact that Nkemdiche has the elite combination of speed and size that most teams are looking for in certain players. Nkemdiche can shoot the gap with the best of them.

Defensive linemen are deep in this draft but name all the DL in this draft that has the size 300lbs that can run a 4.8...

If he is there for our round 2 pick, I would take him without hesitation and head straight out to the alter where we apparently agreed to sacrifice whatever number of people we agreed to with whichever diety we made the deal with.

Lazy and an idiot and a pot-head?

What's not to like?

After speaking with someone who knows him personally, RK is one of the nicest guys you ever want to meet. His brother is the one who is an absolute lunatic gang banger. If he can get away from his family, hell have a great career.

Ok so he's lazy, apparently goofy, a pot head, possibly a liar and a really nice guy

That sounds much better

How about he have that great career somewhere else?
